Smarts going to come back and save the day. Stop worrying so much.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I've been doing the annual draft pick tracking thread but was going to skip it this year since they just have the one pick but if the team drops into the lottery I just might start it back up

They way the Celtics are dropping it might be necessary, sadly. Getting passed up by the Knicks who just have a harder playing team is hard.

On the flip side if we do win the lottery ( were currently 10th seed in East) our rebuild will be complete with Cade ... then we have to immediately start adding vets to the roster

Any PGs that can’t pass and 3&D’s that can’t shoot 3s? I’ll fax them right over to Danny’s office at Chipotle.

Forgot about undersized bigs or injuried player with potential.

#TankForJalenGreen ;D

It would be really hard to nab him, given Jalen Green (in my opinion, and according to some scouting pages) grades out better than highly touted wing prospects like Wiggins, Edwards and Mayo, but it would be crazy. Ridiculous big 3 potential.

Corey Kispert and Day'Ron Sharpe would be good low-lotto outcomes.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Might want to look out for some undersized bigs with good intangibles as well  ;D.

Corey Krispert was on my list last year but didn't come out. Great shooter.

Whoever they take in the 10-15 range, the guy Ainge really wants will be taken a pick or two ahead, and then we'll end up with some high upside raw project who was injured for half his college career or who needs to fix his jumpshot or something.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
