Serious accident.  His agent reports he's in surgery.

I just watched the Tiger documentary. Provides many insights into his childhood and why he became a womanizer. I think they made a compelling case that he was traumatized as a kid.

Tiger is the most influential golfer of all time, and I'm not sure it's close. I know he's been battling back pain, so I hope that isn't as serious as it seems. After last year's Masters, I realized that I wasn't done watching him. I hope he recovers and makes another comeback.

Sucks. Been fun recently seeing him mature and become a totally different guy. Watching him play with his son is pretty wholesome stuff.

Hopefully nothing serious.

Tiger Woods has "non life-threatening injuries," per a spokesman on LA's CBS affiliate just now.

Seems like a good guy. Having surgery on legs now. Hope he will recover and return to normal soon.

Hopefully substance abuse or depression were no factors to it.

Let's hope he's ok. The state of his vehicle after the accident didn't look too pretty.

maybe, but i was shocked to read he is only 45 years old. he looks 60.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Crazy stuff. Being in the public eye that long has obviously taken a toll on him, not to mention his injuries. Wouldn't mind seeing him fade into a quiet retirement

Of course, as with anyone who I don’t know personally, I hope he recovers quickly and fully.

But to be honest, when there is hour after hour of non-stop Tiger coverage with very little news it’s a little much.  They’re finding anyone who can provide a Tiger testimonial of some sort.  If things were touch and go... if injuries were life-threatening, I’d get it.  I think it’s been clear that Tiger has leg injuries and he’ll survive.  It’s scary for loved ones and I’m sure they are worried.

Provide news when he’s out of surgery, provide prognosis, interview doctors, interview Tiger when he’s ready - I get all that. But nonstop Tiger life stories as if we’re eulogizing the guy isn’t necessary. Imo.
