Wow, Durant was robbed at the end of that game. If they called our game against the Thunder like that we would've won. How many bad calls do the Jazz get in there favor at home? Seems like a lot.

It's the classic phenomenon of "refs are scared by the home crowd". Sad but true, the Jazz gets a lot of beneficiary calls (or non calls in your example) because of their "tough" crowd and hostile environment of their arena.

The foul on Durant was obvious, I was frankly surprised he didn't complain more about it because the Thunder got robbed on that play...

He still went to the free throw line 12 times that game.  I figure it evens out.

tp for posting that.

i love the OKS thunder announcers. they were rightfully livid. i will make a deal with them. we will grant them a win last nigh....if they are willing to give us the win from last week at the garden!  ;)

all seriousness, this game had big time playoff implications and the nba refs blow it once again. a shame. absolutely scared of that utah crowd and sloan, the biggest crybaby coach in the nba.

That was a clear foul...how can you not call that?

A little offtopic...but man, that Jazz crowd is rabid. Great atmosphere for a home team.

Great shot by Deron Williams to take the lead for the Jazz - the Thunder may have dropped like 2 playoff spots because of the result of that game - speaking of which we could've tied the Hawks for the 3rd seed in the playoffs last night because they lost as well. If we can't beat them in the regular season then we might as well have tried to overtake their seed in the playoffs and get an easier first round matchup...

I am sure there was a point in the game where Durant got a 'favorable' call as well.  Foul calls balance out.  Blaming the refs is the easy way out.

If Durant doesn't play poor defense 2 plays earlier OKC probably wins.  You can't blame the refs unless you execute perfectly.

I got to be honest, first time I watched it (in real time, not the replay) I didn't see a foul.  Actually the first replay, I still didn't see a foul.  There are wayyyyyyyyyyy worse no calls than that one.  Hand is part of the ball blah blah blah.

Nick may be kidding but I'm not.  The way the messiah is officiated is disgraceful and a mockery of the game.

-----------------------------

I think Durant may have screwed himself by trying to sell it too much.  He didn't need to act like he'd been clobbered.  He was clearly fouled.
