My spreadsheet knows know limits!  I have the sheet set up now so I just punch in everyone's finish each night and it calculates all sorts of goodies for us.  Here is what I'm proposing for standings for playoffs purposes.  It's a 5 category rotisserie style scoring system.  I'll explain what everything means if anyone's interested.  Basically it balances average and cumulative performance.

If anyone knows how to convert a PDG to an image and can figure out how to link it as an image, let me know.  Thanks.

thanks for putting in that time and effort Redz!!  I can't open the document (hoping it's just due to my filters at work) but will try from home later.

I know we're only halfway through the season but I'm open to suggestions from everyone who's played how they'd like to do it.  I believe in the past seedings were based on average daily +/- but I admit that I haven't tracked that at all and I don't see myself having the time to play catch up on it (although it looks like Redz has addressed that particular issue).

The years I was most involved we did an aggregate of your standings in both totals and average points based on the scoring system.  I haven't been keeping track of the actual +/- scores, just order of finish.

The way I'm keeping track should give a pretty good representation of who deserves to be where come seeding time, but we can always use just parts of it.  I just like finding ways to keep track and have excel do automated calculations.

A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.

Gotta love the spreadsheets, haha! The one I was using for the past few years had grown into monster size with about 20 tabs. I was tracking all of the daily facts so that I didn't duplicate any of them from year to year. I added a bunch of automation so that it wrote the tables for me. My standings evolved to take into account a lot of what Redz is doing. It was a based on multiple factors and favored heavy usage and average ppg. I can't tell you how happy I am to not have to track them anymore, haha. Even with the automations I was spending quite a bit of time on it.

Nice job by both of you (Redz & Slam)!

Assuming I leave it alone and don't try to build the Excel Mahal this sheet will require less than a minute of work per day.  It's a peach!
