Ribery being out is a godsend for Chelsea. Bayern misses him dearly.

Chelsea first shot at goal was a free-kick at 33min mark. Bayern Munich dominated this game.

Yeah, they don't have anywhere near the cutting edge going forward that they had earlier with Ribery and Muller on the pitch.

Looks like they are short of ideas. Trying to grind it out instead.

Good idea, bad execution from Olic. Should've been a tap in for Van Buyten.

Drogba
Torres
Mata
Lampard
and Malouda are my five penalty takers.

Luiz, Cahill and Mikel would be my next three.

I think Neuer is the stronger keeper especially in a penalty shootout. I like Chelsea's kickers more though.

Who knows ... pure lottery.

(1+2) Two excellent penalties for Bayern (Lahm/Gomez). Luiz' was special too. Mata blew his.
(3) Ooh, Lamps got that one in. Close though. Nice peno by Neuer moments earlier.
(4) Great stop by Cech. Bad shot by Olic. Good job by Ashley Cole. Tied 3-3.
(5) Ohhh, oh my, he hit the post. Bayern hit the post. Schweinsteiger hit the post. Drogba will take it to win it for Chelsea ... good! Sends the keeper the wrong way and puts in the opposite corner.

Lovely stuff. I can't believe they won this game. Bayern played so well but they were wasteful in front of goal and Chelsea nicked a bit of luck and took it from them. Fantastic.

An FA Cup winner and a Champions League trophy for Di Matteo.

Incredible success for an interim manager.

Finally WOOHOOOOOOO

Chelsea F.C. wins UEFA Champions league.

It took a team effort, brilliant play from Drogba, and stellar goalkeeping from Cech.

Drogba etched his name in history book. Freaking legend.
