So, as I said, it wasn't true.
Hayward likes playing for Utah, period. And Utah is a playoff team. But Utah is not a lock to play beyond the first round, which may move Hayward into not-so-happy mood.
Also, Hayward surely remembers how some years ago Utah was reluctant to give him max money and so he had to sign an offer sheet with CHA/NO (I can't remember) to get that contract.
Here in Boston, the most heralded franchise in the league, he has a good environment, fans, his college coach and a team built to win for the next years.
So... Are you sure we don't have a chance to get him? Even a remote one?
