One man's opinion, and I like Lee and Balkman as well, but New York says no to this, quickly.

I don't think New York would be interested in that trade.  The Celtics will have to come up with something better to offer than Pruitt, Davis, and Scal to make it work for the other team.

David Lee would be a good addition to the Celtics though.  If only Boston had something to trade.

The new coach won't want that. Scal looks decent for D'Antoni's system, but Pruit and Big Baby are throw ins that won't work to tear David Lee away from New York. I would love to see Nate Robinson in a Celts jersey, but that won't happen any time soon.
Can't stop, Rondo!

not a chance in hell.  Lee only leaves NY if he takes a lot of long term salary with him.  Unless the C's are willing to part with Perkins and take back Curry there is no way a trade will be made with NY.

This may have worked if Isiah was still in charge but forget it now.

We don't have bird rights to sign and trade Posey...not to mention, NY still laughs at it.

  • Yup
Lee represents the only smart thing they did during the Thomas reign of frivelous stupidity.  He's a keeper for the Knicks.

Great idea!  Unfortunately, the Knicks are no longer run by someone stupid enough to actually do this.

I'm pretty happy with Nate in a Knicks jersey, pretty much gaurantees we win when we play them (though I'm not sure if Mike D will actually put him on the court) - I give Nate credit for overcoming obstacles to make the show, but he's a selfish selfish dude

This isn't as bad as a topic started here not long ago where the person suggested a 3 way trade including David Lee for Cash Considerations.
