Better to trade a couple of small players you don't need for some big players you can use. Dampier would definitely fill a need there.

Don't see why Dallas even sniffs that deal.

Give up Josh Howard and get two highly overpaid players who are not as good while weakening positions of need. 

I could see a Kenyon Martin for Kirk Hinrich and Cedric Simmons deal.

Huge loss for Chicago.  Randolph to teach the young kids?

Huge loss for Dallas.  Replacing a starting C and fringe all-star SF with a small PF that is not longer the same player that earned that contract and a SG with a back so bad, it can't be insured.
