Is he still here ???

 ;D
Soo... is Rondo facing Suspension?
I Hope So! It'll be the 2nd greatest thing that  has happened to this team since he last sat out because of injuries. Without Rondo this team plays like a team. I loved seeing Avery develop, Moore develop & hit big shots. Bass was ballin, Allen was efficient & Pierce was an All-Star. Since Rondo's return I feel as if Josh Smith got robbed to be an All-Star because pierce is str8 dookie right now. Ray is lost, Avery is missing, & is Moore still even on this team? Steisma was also ballin, now look at us. You guys talk this mess all the time about other players being cancers...etc so you don't want them here. Well let me say this... We have the biggest cancer in the league on this team... #RajonRondo! Get'em Outta here!!! Scram!! Poof Be Gone!!!

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
How is he a cancer. Is he alienating the locker room to the point that they don't want to play with him anymore?

You said Pierce was missing, Allen was lost? Aren't they still getting their shots even with Rondo around???

This is exactly why I agree, that Rondo needs to be gone. He's not appreciated here. Being blamed for everything even if he's the most consistent player in all of the team. Even if he's the only one that seems to be busting his behind harder than everybody else. Even if he's getting triple doubles or close to it every night. Even if it's obvious that the others are in a slump, it's still his fault why the Celtics are losing. He's unappreciated and I think he's better for him to play for a team where the fans don't think of him as the main problem even if he's not. Rondo deserves better than this.

Man, I hope you're not serious.

I watched the Comcast sports show last night while doing house chores (don't recall the name of the show).  Ian Thompson was on giving his take on the Rondo situation.  He pretty much summed it up; Rondo is the piece the C's want to move because as the big three ages Rondo's stats and "star" are just going to fall.  If Rondo becomes the main focus of a team of scrubs (which is the C's minus the big 3) he will not be able to get to the rim.  Basically the C's realize his stock is going to drop dramatically in the next season or 2.  Thompson also said most teams realize this and aren't going to give much in return for the guy.

People who think Rondo is great or elite don't truly know the game of basketball.  You're looking at the marketing and the highlights and not the true game.

Danny has a mess on his hands for sure.  Old uninspired players walking up and down the court making millions.

Poor old KG is doing all he can , but he is too old to play 35 minutes and win games for us.

Dooling is the "WORST" player I've seen on the C's in a long time.. . EVerytime he is healty , OUR TEAM DOES BAD AND LOOSEs....when he is off the court we do better, what the heck is DOc thinking.

I'll admitt the Celtic played their BEST ball of the season with ROndo and Dooling HURT ..not on the court

Again, I still have no idea if you're being serious or just acting like an idiot.

Rondo is clearly an elite passer, an elite fast break player, and an elite defensive disruptor with elite ball handling abilities and an elite ability to get to the rim.

Of course, this assessment is based entirely on marketing and highlights.

I can't take any report serious that claims that Rondo looks good just because of the system/players in Boston.  Of course it is a great benefit to being surrounded by three HOFers, but why didn't any of the other PGs here in the KG era succeed?

Rondo has top of the league talent as a passer, team QB, and defender. also one of the best rebounding PGs ever. If he were on a team with young guys who run up and down the court, I have no doubt that he would be successful. He would lead the league in assists and would probably score a bit more due to him getting a few run out hoops along with the few wide open jumpers he makes.

Does anyone seriously believe that Rondo couldn't thrive on Atlanta, for example?  This situation is unique because he's a poor-shooting greyhound PG playing on a team of plodders.

First of all, this season hasn't born your theory out. Rondo's been able to score when the rest of the team's been playing poorly and he's still second in the league in assists. It's something that people who watch the game notice, not people who claim to truly know the game of basketball because someone on tv agreed with their position.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
as the big three ages Rondo's stats and "star" are just going to fall.

This is kind of funny considering his stats have improved as the Big 3 have declined. And that's not just conjecture I'm throwing out there because I like/don't like him - it's there in black & white.

Rondo definitely benefited from playing with Paul, KG, and Ray early in his career, but let's not kid ourselves - that's CLEARLY not the case anymore. I can even make the argument that being forced to play a slowed down, half court game is holding him back.

Rondo and Bradley should stay our PG and backup PG
for years to come. They are not the problem.
We have no offense from center, and two old forwards who
play more like shooting guards.

Too late, he should already have been traded perhaps at last years deadline if we were indeed intending to trade him. The lockout limited Danny's opportunities to engineer a good deal and was definitely a factor in the Perkins deadline deal that completely boned us. It should have been Rondo and Perkins, for Westbrook, Jeff Green, and Nick Colison.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Shhh, you're not allowed to say that around here! Rondo is the scapegoat, no matter what happens, it's all his fault.

I say hell no to Bradley as our backup PG he cant dribble nd can barely shoot he needs to find a consistent shot nd be our defensive specialist who wont be a liability ie Bruce Bowen but that Avery Bradley at point guard experiment should be dead

Poor thing, he's not being appreciated. Awww, I think I'm gonna cry now, evil bloggers are hurting Rondo's feelings!

And yes, some _other team_ where he isn't thought as the main problem would be great. Like the Warriors. No-one can be a problem there, because they're not expected to be going anywhere anyhow. So he can rack together his triple doubles on a team that's permanently 10 games below .500. Woot!
