I actually hope we don't build too big of a lead.  We seem to eventually play markedly worse when we have a huge lead.  I will take this defensive effort however.  Is it the baynes effect?

I was just about to say I hope building a big lead doesn’t induce lazy habits again where they jack up 3s and don’t hustle back on D

Great start though we will see if our bench (cough Terry cough) can keep it going

Irving is so dangerous off the ball as a shooter. Guy is pure offense

Not going to let myself get excited yet. No lead is safe with Kelly Olynyk on the other side.

What's gotten into Kyrie Irving ? He is fighting over screens and moving on defense and rotating away from the ball on the offensive end, which encourages more ball movement, which leads to wide open 3's like the one he just made off the Horford assist.

Great job by Mook making the extra pass for Kyrie to hit the open 3. NormLly Mook shoots those without looking around

As I said. Winning all those 50/50 plays and hustle plays.

This is one area where I've been impressed with our team's preparation, and there haven't been many this season.  We have executed well against the zone, both earlier this season when it has showed up and in this game so far.

While he probably should've passed that off, I LOVE seeing Hayward taking that layup and getting contact and to the line. Shows how much more confident he is now compared to early in the season, when he definitely would've passed that off due to lacking confidence.
