Not sure.  Probably a combo of being incredibly large and lack of an NBA level conditioning regimen.

He always hustles, if nothing else.  Never had an issue with his effort.  He just isn't very good at basketball.

probably realizes his pro career is on the line right now.  anything short of dominating summer league opponents makes him a candidate for a salary dump and a ticket back to Europe next year

Scal and Max were having an interesting debate pre-game about whether Tacko can play in the league or not.  Scal was a yes, Max a no.  Scal said he was a no till he saw him play the other night.

Tacko has certainly looked better than I thought he would, but it really doesn't make sense to draw too many conclusions from summer league. All this tells us is that he might be worthy of a camp invite.
