Saw this kid play in last year's McDonald's All Star Game. Honestly he impressed me more than Bamba or Ayton. His energy is off the charts. His offense needs a lot of work, but can stick 3 point shot, great shot blocker, and, like I said, super-motor.

Since he is not playing in college (dropped out of Western Kentucky, when his godfather left the team as assistant coach),  his draft stock slid into the 20's.  To me he is lottery quality, and could see Danny trying to trade up with our late first round pick to nab him.

Kid measures 7'1", 7'4" wingspan with 9'3" standing reach. He will take some time to develop, but so would someone like Bamba, who will get picked much higher.  Who needs the Laker pick if we can nab this kid in late first round? I'd rather use a high lottery pick on a more skill-oriented player like Bagley or Doncic.

Thoughts?
