hell yeah spotlight on Paul Pierce at halftime.  BOUT TIME!

Woohoo that'll wash the bad taste of that useless Lebron piece out of my mouth.

Every Lebron piece is useless and boring, and I guarantee there are dozens in development.

74 points in a half is absolutely ridiculous.

And they are playing great defense.

Yeah I'm shocked by the poor defense especially since they just got stomped on by the Bucks.

If Hubie says the word shade one more time I'm going to lose it.

"Ray Allen just a shade under 93% . . ."

"Dirk Nowitzki is just a shade above 90% . . ."

JUST STOP WITH THE SHADE!

In the piece, Lebron said he thought he'd never see an African-American President in his lifetime. What? Lebron you are 24 years old and you're speaking like your Dr. J. What a complete fake!!!!!!!!!!

Where does Rajon stand in terms of league wide +/- for the season? Box score has him at a ridiculous +30 right now. I don't know how that's not an all-star number.

I mean, I doubt he gets in but I think we should get at least two players in the game, and obviously KG deserves it, but I think next in line on this team is Rondo. When he plays good, C's are [dang] close to unbeatable.

Yeah it would have been more interesting if the piece was on someone who was playing today and actually went to the inauguration like oh Ray Allen.

Decent piece on Pierce but they left out so much in between the stabbing and championship that it lost a lot of feeling for people from Boston in my opinion.

Wow the half-time comments are harsh. I bet Avery is glad he got fired.

I am wondering to what extent this recent run of phenonmenal basketball has raised the value of BBD, House, and Scal to other teams as trade deadline approaches.  My guess is not much.

Perhaps more importantly, is this stretch impacting their value to the Celtics?

I wouldnt think it does anything for guys like House, Scal, etc.  Most teams already know what theyre gonna get with those guys, they dont need a run to Woo them.

BBD though, if he keeps knockin down the mid range J, hustling, and getting boards his value might go up a little.  Not much though I dont think.

I think Scal's limited value (for the C's and others) has been helped tremendously these last few weeks.  Otherwise it had been a couple of years since he hadn't looked like a shadow of his former limited self.
