Largely unremarkable game.

No "great" stretches, no super bad ones either.

TPs for those who stuck around for the solid ending.

great to get the win but what a weird game by both teams. neither team brought any energy.

I'll take a win however it looks.

MORE AT 6!!

We're slightly less unremarkable as the Rockets now :D hahahaha

A win is a win.

Smart got the energy going in 2nd half.

Tatum played well despite shooting poorly.

Jaylen still seems off, just not as explosive.

J Rich was terrific. He was really missed the last few games.  He can play ball.

Yeah, JB hit limited minutes as well, only 27. He'll be right. Had a couple cool moves.

I like how spread out the scoring was for Boston. Had 5 players with 15+ points. 3pt attempts were still high at 34, but they did shoot 35% from behind the arc as a team, which is decent.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Largely unremarkable game.

No "great" stretches, no super bad ones either.

There are some notable things from this game. The Celtics consistently attacked the hoop and got to the FT line, which was the difference in the game.

Also, Tatum was disciplined in moving the ball throughout the game which is reflected by his 10 assists. This also lead to several other guys having great scoring nights including Richardson, Grant Williams and Smart, which is huge for this team if they can keep this up.

Yeah, I have to admit that.

Different team.

JT actually looked to make plays like that too - he looked like he was purposefully trying to draw 2 defenders JUST to pass. As in, make a move, see there's 2 people, instantly look to pass it out.

That's great. If we get JB to start doing that too, we're golden.

Actually I was kinda proud of Tatum. He's trying to be what the team needs. He could have just tried to shoot his way out of his doldrums tonight, instead he did a nice job finding players who had good shots.

His performance reeks of growth.

I'm looking forward to a game where he puts it all together and has a chance to see the entire picture.

Nights like tonight and last weekend (Lakers, Thunder, Rockets games) are why this is all frustrating. You know this team is capable of playing like an elite team and winning a bunch, but it just never seems to be consistent. I'm not saying they are at the level of the likes of BKN and MIL but I don't think they are as bad as the record indicates. But it is what it is, they are maddeningly inconsistent.
