Romeo can get almost anywhere he wants on the floor, but he can’t finish.

Very disappointed in Brown and Tatum tonight. Ime too. Nesmith hits a 3 and the other guys just freeze him out, jacking and missing 3s. Horford too.

Smart and Romeo brought energy. The others did not.

Nets still a notch above us. Even without Kyrie.

We re not a good match for the Nets .   Their shooting and ours is two worlds apart in terms of consistency. KD is shooting like Curry right now , this seems to give confidence to others on their team .  They are gun slingers of jumpers …assassins of offense .  Having a KD makes everybody else more comfortable and thus better. ….they can lean on him.

Our Celtics are too streaky to face them in a series . Defense might win a game or two , but they can still shoot lights out game after game and will ultimately win.

Celtics can shot one or two decent games ,  but when pressure is on , These Celtics just go cold and can’t move the ball , team play to create easy shots , bu5 they still have knock down the easy shots even if they create them….smh  . which seems to be a on going problem…..with the construction of the Celtics teams since KG and PP.

KD and company puts the crazy pressure to score on the Celtics players , he scores every time he touches the ball. ….this causes a million threes by Celtics  trying to overcome KD scoring every time he touches the ball.   Panic , poor passing , rushed shots , low confidence….etc sets in and the game gets out of reach.

nets force you into a offensive contest that is almost unwinable without an equally good shooting performance from Boston.  Our scorers can not seem to match the offensive pressure the Nets put on them to score.

If Irving was playing , it would have been over even sooner.

Awful effort from the tip off....C's went back to cruise control. Brown taking weak shots to start, no ball movement....then the refs took over and handed the Nets the big lead. Patty Mills and a washed up Aldridge look like Hall of Famers tonight. Celtics got punched in the face right from the get go. Pretty disappointing.

C's should have started with Schroder/Smart and pressured the ball all night, not just the 4th.

Had to leave for pre Thanksgiving dinner at halftime, we were 13 down and I think we were 2-15 from 3…I guess the 2nd half wasn’t an improvement

After a few games of playing the right way even when missing we reverted to type and started chucking up 3s at every opportunity and all the misses supercharged the Nets transition offense. 47 3pt attempts? Over half of all our shots were from the 3 pt line?

Two steps forward one step back…I hope they come out amd play the right way the next game
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Outside shooting is such a key part of the game. And we have 4 guys (at least) that have a negative WAR in that area.

We will probably win a lot more games, but unless we trade for some shooting, this team isn't winning a championship.

Yup, like we totally forgot how we won those games---with DEFENSE, until we were down by 29

What infuriates me with this core is they just give up when the whistles don't go their way. They hung their head up and play lazy.

Yes it's one thing for fans to get frustrated and moan at the injustice...as a player you just have to suck it up and play through it. Signs of mental weakness to crumble when the whistle isn't going your way.

I was not very hopeful for a win  at the news Timelord was listed as out , I thought a blow out might be the result .   The Celtics have to play twice as hard defensively to win a game , while the nets just score every time .   Of course it’s going to be be drag on you mentally, if everything the nets throws up goes in .  Defensive stops ain’t worth all the effort , if you can’t go to the other end and make a bucket.  Tossing 3 after 3 bricks and not backing off is poor coaching strategy IMO.

"Humiliated on your own court!"

Back in the 70's when Central High school had Marvin Barnes and Rick Santos they had a legendary and unbeaten basketball team. They played an away game one Friday night at my high school. Needless to say my team lost by 30...the interesting part was both stars never even got off the bench the entire game, instead they sat and laughed through-out.

When walking off the court we heard taunts from the crowd... "Humiliated on your own court."

That's how I felt last night.

Good news is that is a fixable problem. IMO the Nets are vulnerable. They look very soft to me and are reliant on ticky tack officiating. Ttansplant that team to the 80s or 90s and they get bullied right off the court.

We are more physical and athletic - which does still matter - but we lack composure and experience.

Brown and Tatum choked spectacularly last night. Really embarrasing because they are better than that. We were getting any shot we wanted but gagged when it came time to finish.

The potential is real. Just gotta clean up the rubble between the ears.
