I get he was coming off injury, but lebron has now been injured 3 of the last 4 seasons. He kind of looks like he only has one quarter of burst in him now. Worse the supporting cast looks extremely misfit. Carmelo can’t guard a chair, howard is done, rondo is done and Westbrook is a disaster. I can’t see a way they can play those up for better fitting pieces. Nobody wants melo, howard or Westbrook right now and they have little draft capital. Maybe I will eat these worse in 8 months, but I really doubt it.

I’m never going to pile dirt on the grave of a Lebron team, but they certainly look both old and bad.

That trade for Westbrook was a terrible move. Washington made out like bandits.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

That and letting Schroder and Caruso go for nothing!

Based on the roster construction it was predictable, even just looking at it on paper.  Westbrook is a terrible fit next to LeBron, and the team would struggle on defense because they're old and slow.  Also not enough 3 point shooting.

I'd wager good money that the Lakers aren't winning a ring this season.

Lakers should seriously consider sending Westbrook to Houston for Wall. Can’t be a worse fit.

I sure hope they make the playoffs though. Can’t give the NBA a chance to gift them wiith a lottery pick.

Steven A Smith has been saying all week that Lebron won't win another title because Lebron is going to stay in  LA and the Warriors play in the West.

Steven A. is a massive blowhard, but I think he has this one right

Even though LBJ was hurting, it's tough to see a ring in LA this year based on this outing.

If healthy, and that is a big if, Lebron is a top 3 player in the NBA and Davis is supposed to be a top 5 player (at worst top 10).  You can do a lot worse than that come playoff time and win a lot of games.  Davis seems to be the problem.  He is barely playing like a top 25 guy let alone a top 10 or 5 guy.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I don’t think he’s a top 3 anymore. Would take KD, Giannis, Jokic, and Curry over him. Once Kawhi is back, he might be better than Lebron at this stage as well.
