Somewhat lost in the bad start to the season for the Bruins (as well as the Red Sox eating up the headlines in Boston), is Tyler Seguin seemingly making the leap this season.  As he has earned more playing time with a little more physical play, and a lot more confidence in his own zone, Seguin has been arguably the B's best forward so far this season, and is currently averaging more than a point per game (8 points in 7 games).

I think its still a work in progress to figure out exactly how the lines should shake out (I personally think he will end up on the wing next to Krejci and Lucic, with Horton sticking with Bergeron and Marchand), but no matter who he has been playing with, he has been making things happen, both in the open ice, and off the boards.

It is going to be a long winter without the C's, but watching this kid break out this season could be a pretty fun alternative.
