Would it be possible to develop 2 game threads:
1 for those who are excited to be watching the C's and who can accept a tough night without calling for a blow-up or declaring the season over.

The other thread can be for those who have already given up on the season and just like to state and restate their  negative predictions. You may be correct, but I am already tired of hearing it.

We all have eyes. Miami is dominant tonight. This is Game 2.

C's don't need a center, they need a time machine.

Time machine? impossible. Center, possible.

But I do agree with the sentiment.

I'm not horribly worried, to be honest.

Daniels is clearly not in NBA-game shape and it's showing on both ends. LeBron/Wade are eating him up with the help of the refs. On offense, he is either missing his type of shots or getting stuffed.

Pietrus would be a big upgrade, Pierce a giant one.

We are 1.5 games in. KG didn't fall off a cliff. Ray can still run and shoot. The bench is better. Pierce isn't missing the first half of the season. Rondo looks like the player we needed him to become.

The guys whining and complaining now will be the first one's changing their tune in April.

I really just wish I knew why people are so concerned about what's likely to be 2 losses without an active SF against teams with two of the best SFs in the league.

5-7 or 6-6....and the post about the rooks never playing is spot on.

Was anyone really expecting a close game where we pull of a miracle? No pierce and no pietrus as decent SF to play Lebron.

Stop complaining, Pierce will be back soon as well as pietrus and this team will get its identity back as well as its confidence. Not concerned about this game
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I think the countdown to Rondo becoming disgruntled has begun. A star player without help around.

Its all over!!!!! Even our popcorn sellers and Beer Vendors Suck. Oh and our Ushers? Forget about it. Replace them all!!!
maybe if we signed a couple beer vendors to the vet minimum they could charge less than $9 for a Sam Adams.

Am I the only one who knew what we were getting into back in 2007?

I am thankful we still have a chance to compete for a title.

We're still a top 10 team 4 years later.

4 years of relevancy has made people forget the years of suckage that preceded it.

I honestly think this year's team goes as far as KG is capable of taking them.  He's the key guy and it's obvious he's slipping. But I'm still going to reserve judgement on him until we get into this thing a little more.

if the goal is to win a playoff series or 2 then you are right on...but to me the goal is a title. and this team as it is constructed wouldn't beat miami, okc or the bulls in a 7 game series. winning a playoff series just doesn't do much for me
