I'm taking the Celtics in 6 - although I'm much less optimistic if Khris Middleton keeps shooting like he did against us last year.

I think that Milwaukee sweeping Detroit by a large margin actually works in our favor to steal game 1. Usually, the team that has had to fight in the previous round arrives much more prepared for the next series that the one who didn't face real competition. Like Orlando who swept its way to the ECF in 2010 only to lose games 1 and 2 at home (won't happen here I think but still, that's a good example).

I voted Celts in 6.

Sticking with my prediction it will be Celts/Raps in the ECF (though I'll be rooting for Philly in the 2nd round. They'd be a better match-up for us.)

Much as I hate predictions, Id just leave it at this....

don't let the seeding blind you, the Bucks have just did their due diligence in the RS by beating on crappy teams but the Cs did not...but matched up against each other, the Bucks and Cs are pretty much a toss up...the team that stays hot I suppose takes the cake on this one.

It will definitely not going to be a lopsided series like the Bucks/Detroit series but more of a grind it one just like last year.

I think a lot depends on when Smart comes back, as he's key in slowing down Giannis. I'm going with Celtics in 6, assuming Smart comes back by game 4.

Jaylen has been great so far in the playoffs though, do you guys think he can handle guarding Giannis? I can see Hayward and Horford taking some time on Giannis as well, but Tatum would get crushed defending him.

If the Bucks take the first 2 at their place, the Celtics will be forced to win both at home to even the series 2-2.   So IMO the Celtics must take one game in Milwaukee, if not I think the Bucks could steal one in Boston and make this a short series.

I give the C's credit for sweeping the Pacers, but without Oladipo I think it is hard to tell how good the Celtics really are.  The Pacers could have won 1 of the first 2 in Boston.

I'm not sure the Celtics can contain Giannis so I have to go with the Bucks in 6.   Hope I'm wrong.  If the Celts don't beat the Bucks, I think you can kiss Irving goodbye...

Sorry guys. My heart says Celtics in 6, but mind says Bucks in 6 or 7.

Hope the heart wins out, but I think we'll miss Smart in this series. Plus, Brogdon might return too. I'm not saying we lose this series simply BECAUSE of no Smart, but Smart would have been a huge help for us. Jaylen and others will have to continue stepping up in his absence (especially on defense).

And yeah, we'll need to limit the turnovers and Al + Kyrie can not shoot as poorly as they did today. We got a shot, but we'll have to execute and play smarter. Should be a fun and exciting series regardless  ;D

Not that I think it will happen, but, if Boston were to sweep Milwaukee do they suddenly make everyone else in the league start to sweat some? Wonder what would happen to their odds of winning it all after a second series sweep?

I tend to be pessimistic about the Celtics, but I'm predicting Cs in 7. Although, they tend to fare worse when I'm actually optimistic, so maybe I should be saying Bucks in 6 or 7?

These Celtics have tended to not fare well when having a lot of time off, so I'll be shocked if they win Game 1, especially with it being a road game. I think Game 2 might be their best chance to steal one. It was great to see them sweep Indy, but Milwaukee will be a MUCH bigger test, particularly because the Cs start the series without home court (and without Smart).
