Okay, probably a stupid question, but how does coin flip work with three teams? I mean seems like team that wins first flip now has to win second. does first team to lose get the last pick or do they flip against team that loses last pick? Is it first team to win 2? I'm confused.

This is a good question, never really thought about it.

Looks like it happened last for the lottery in 2016, Kings, Bucks, Nuggets all tied with 33-49.  Can't find any details though.

With 3 teams I'm guessing every team is involved in 2 flips for 3 total flips.  So today for #12-#14, there will be 3 flips:

SAC vs CHA
SAC vs MIA
MIA vs CHA

Team that goes 2-0 will get #12, team that goes 1-1 will get #13, and team that goes 0-2 gets #14.

Just a guess.  Interested to see.

Looks like ping pong balls, footey knows what's up, tp.  Results from 2017:

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

2.5 hours away from knowing how amazing it will be when that Kings pick jumps all the way to the number 2 or 3 pick

Sounds like the NBA Draft tiebreakers have been pushed back to around 4:30 PM EST today (Friday). Still set to be shown live on NBATV!

How pitiful are we ... we are excited to watch a drawing that helps determine our lottery position.   :o . I'm all in though!

Thanks. I was wondering where to find the results. Tankathon is  listing pick orders now as though the ties were already broken. Now I know it’s bogus – or at least not official yet.

Ya good point.  It certainly will suck if the Memphis pick conveys, mostly because we won't have any more rooting interest in other teams ... other than hating the Lakers of course.
