Oh my lord, 4 picks and 4 swaps?? That’s insane considering, well, just how destined for implosion the Nets are. Kudos to them for going all in, but I do not see this ending well

All these years we thought Danny was a genius. Turns out it's just that the Nets are idiots.

Come on Danny! Hop on the deal! You can’t let all these GMs having all the fun lol.
Is it even possible for us to get something out of this?

Danny wont

But he likely hates this

If Harden slims up. Irving comes to his senses.... in theory Nets should be unbeatable

Except for the fact they can’t guard a trash can and are very prone to drama and chemistry issues now.

Brooklyn is either going to be epically awesome or implode and be terrible.  No middle ground.
They’re giving me Kobe-Pau-Nash-Dwight vibes already

I don't care how it goes down, but I sincerely hope BKN crashes and burns. I know they gave up a few picks, but I don't know how they got this deal to happen w/o giving up any players of consequence.

Big 3 in our division but this assumes, physically heathy and emotionally healthy. If they all buy in and stay healthy, they will be a mini all star team but that is a big if. Gulp....

Here is hoping history repeats itself. 8 potential picks is insane!

The Nets are a team of dudes who expect you to love and appreciate them even though they feel nothing but contempt for you.

Its not that bad

The swaps could turn out to be nothing
Considering how this big 3 seems destined to be done in 2-3 years, I wouldn’t say that at all.

Allen and Levert aren’t players of consequence? They’re not Irving, sure, but would you really want Irving after the last two weeks?

That's a lot of picks for BKN to give up... Didn't they learn the last time this happened?

I think Levert and Allen are super underrated for that Nets team, especially now that Dinwiddie is out for the year.  The Nets went from being a super deep team with 2 superstars, to a team with no depth and 2 superstars.

What if Kyrie is serious about this whole "ready to give up everything for the cause" mentality he's seemed to have the past week.  Especially knowing that Brooklyn made everyone except Durant available.  That is allegedly what sent Kyrie over the edge with Cleveland.

End of game in playoffs not going to be great trying to defend them. Now , there D should be full of holes minus Durant.

Love it for the Cavs.  Like the age/contract factor for the Pacers.  Don't get why Houston included those 2 teams.  Think they'd have been better off with LeVert, Allen, and Prince long term and one less late 1st round pick (because there is almost no way the Milwaukee 22 pick isn't going to be a late pick).  Obviously Houston did the deal to get all of those picks and pick swaps years down the line.

I get why Brooklyn did this, but it could really back fire on them and not just long term.  There is a chance they just implode and melt down and end up not very good in the current, let alone the future.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick
