5 teams within 4 games at the top of the east.

If we can start playing like tonight on a consistent basis, we can make up 4 games.

Smart was beast again tonight.

Seriously, the only guys in his draft class that I would take before him now is down to Embiid and the Joker.

Great win by the Cs. I feel bad for Dirk—he goes 0-for-10 (including 0-for-8 on threes) in his last game in Boston. And he needed only 2 points to pass Kobe for highest-scoring visiting player of all time in Boston!

I didn't know that.  I'm guessing Mike/Scal said it, but I missed it.  I'm a little bummed.  Now I want Dirk to come back next season just to top Kobe.

Weird stat you would figure is wrong but isn't:

Tatum has led the Celtics in scoring in 5 games this year.

Brown has done it 6 times.

How many of those games was Kyrie out?
Just today.

I mean, look at the games those were in, though. Brown's games are all largely blowouts, and he's been the focus of the offense later in the game and during garbage time when the starters are usually out or playing lower minutes. The only game that he led in that wasn't really a blowout was the San Antonio game, though he looked like the best player on the floor that night for sure.

Tatum's games have all been tight games except for opening night against the Sixers. (Notice that they're all at the beginning of the season, too, highlighting his offensive regression since then.)

I think that's a big reason for Brown having more games as the leading scorer.

Brown - @ Detroit +20; vs Chicago +29; @ Chicago +56; vs Milwaukee -17; @ San Antonio -9; vs Dallas +21

Tatum - vs Philadelphia +18; @ New York + 2; @ OKC +6; @ Portland -6; @ Dallas -9;

I’m glad Gordon, Jaylen and Jayson got the chance to shine with Kyrie and Morris out there was around 35 points up for grabs between the two of them. We need depth to get through injuries even if it means they don’t all get the same opportunities when they are all healthy.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

35 assists for Boston vs 16 for Dallas there’s the game right there

35 Assists - Amazing.

Pierce & Billups I must say are right on the money with their comments - Kyrie is great and needed last 2 minutes of a tough game, It's the other 46 minutes where his style of play does not fit with the way the rest of the team plays. Also, Pierce commented on the lack of elite defensive effort. Sounds like a lot of what I have been saying all season, which gets turned into some "I hate Kyrie Irving as a person" perception.

I don't hate Kyrie Irving - I love the Boston Celtics.
You hate Kyrie...just own it. IT was way worse than Kyrie regarding sharing the ball and being a team player. You never said a word.

That can't be right. With as many times as we've faced Lebron over the years in the Eastern Conference, how could he not hold that record?
