If giannis were available I might consider moving brown.
But I like brown, I like guys who improve every season and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
I would trade Brown for Giannis, Doncic, Jokic or Zion. Maybe Beal. But thats about it
I was listening to NBA radio a few weeks ago, and the discussion was that the Pelicans now considered Ingram an untouchable, but not Zion. Said that Zion's dedication to his diet and staying in shape was essentially zero.
One of the reasons why Jaylen is so valuable is his character and his intangibles, including competitiveness, conditioning and sense of responsibility.
Zion, Jokic, Embiid, Doncic, KAT. Any one of them could be an MVP, and maybe some of them will, but all of them failed to get fully ready to play at some point. You can't always tell which way they will go. I wasn't sure about how much Jokic wanted to improve, but look at him now. KAT might be the most talented of the bunch, and doesn't display obvious behavioral issues, but just doesn't seem to want it badly either.
The point is it's a very fine line between success and failure at the top. A small slipup in taking care of yourself or in effort is the difference. Its nice to have a young star who is going to give it everything he has.
