Thought this thread should be resurrected for the new NBA season.

Looking forward to the Lakers/Mavs after the disappointing loss to Miami.

Dallas is dead in the water here without Dirk Nowitzki. Missing Chris Kaman too.

Artest the ball stopper once again. Held the ball for a good 4 seconds there before making a move. Then dribbled pointlessly towards the middle and created nothing. The whole offense went stagnant because of his lousy decision making.

Wright's looking like a decent player tonight.

Very surprised to see the Ghost of Eddy Curry getting NBA action.

If Dallas is dead in the water, what does that say about the Lakers?

At least the Lakers are struggling too so it's not a bad thing for tonight.

I know it's early but the Lakers look terrible.

Dallas looking real good though. Brand and Carter both look better than they have in years. They Could be a force when they have Dirk and Kaman back healthy.

  • GOT IT!!!
It looks like Howard has lost some explosion. Looks to be having trouble going up on rebounds.

Yeah, Dwight Howard doesn't look anywhere near as explosive as his normal (past) self.

Bynum > Howard. I've been saying that the Lakers downgraded the moment they got Dwight. Kobe is gonna fire Mike Brown in 10 games

Very impressive showing from Dallas here.

When you add in Kaman and Dirk they have the personnel to beat LA if things go right for them. A lot like us with the Heat.
