anyone else think Kyrie's pressing a bit much this game?
Yes. His passing has not been good today in particular.
not seeing why he should be pushing his offense on a night when the rest of the team isn't having one of its 'brick' nights

Most of his turnovers have come from him trying to pass the ball to someone open after he’s drawn attention
noticed that as well (poor passes made) and rushed/questionable shots taken when the C's had more time on the clock

hmm, Amanda Pflugrad is certainly an eye-catching addition to the broadcast team.

Does she still works for celtics.com?

Imagine the lead if mirotic was not unconscious tonight.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

EASILY the best we've looked all year long. We have been really solid and consistent on both sides of the ball tonight.

Now we just need to prove that we can do it again

For the most part I think we've been trending the right way the last several games, just haven't always been able to make it 48 minutes. We've done that in the minutes thus far tonight.

Props to Brad for making the decision to start Smart tonight and keep starting Mook with Hayward staying on the bench.

What does Rozier have carved in the back of his head ?
Is that really necessary ?
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Was going to say is she new? I guess because Abby is going on maternity leave soon?

I think she's been around for a while, but isn't usually part of the broadcast. I think she does other Celtics stuff for CSNNE
I'm bitter.

not sure - looked her up on the internet -- seems she's linked to the team via ESPN.  not sure how that works but if she's covering for Abby when she goes on maternity leave, I think she'll fill in nicely

(unlike Kyle who can't hold Mike Gorman's jock).

Smart and Sr. in the starting lineup adds toughness and defense.

Getting out to a lead by having the right effort at the start of the game helped their confidence. They’re making shots they would have missed in previous games. Also helped that NO kept throwing the ball away

Rozier is epically bad at alley oop passes
I'm bitter.

Is it " Don't pass, shoot!"?

Turnover aside, I really like the way Randle has developed. Can’t believe the Lakers let him go for nothing.

Lakers can let Randle go; basically dump Russell.  No matter.  Tank for awhile and then sign the best player in the game.  Rebuilding is easy.

Even Rozier is playing pretty well tonight and not making dumb decision after dumb decision!
