What an excellent first half of defense. The Pels are an excellent offensive team.
Well, until the last two minutes

Where is Mike Gorman? This is painfull to listen to...

It was his birthday on the weekend so he probably took the weekend off. Draper has actually improved a lot, you should have heard him when he started.

Overall a solid half but dang that was a horrendous final 90 seconds.

17 point lead cut to just 9  :(

  • Let's Go Celtics!
New Orleans is a good offensive team, they were going to make a run. We just have to focus and come out strong in the 3rd.

Mirotic looking tired, Tatum gotta use his quickness and get to the cup.  Kind of bailing him out on Def by settling for tough jumper when Mir was out of position.

They need to make Mirotic work hard on the defensive end

Scoreboard watching. Can already sense a reversal second half.

Any one else like the starting line up tonight.  The play between smart and Kyrie is nice.  Smart is a better passer and he can defer to Kyrie in the shooting department. His defense is always good too.   Hayward on the bench is a good place for him.  Morris is much better starting  for this team right now. Let’s hope Brad found something.

overall, a better first half than they've been playing this year.  their D on Mirotic needs to tighten dramatically or he's going to be the latest player to run up a career night on the C's.

Idk, he’s really bad.. Don’t think I’ve heard a worse play by play for an NBA game. Mike, comeback soon, please..

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The only way the Celtics are going to win this thing is if they maintain pace. Pelicans are dragging at both ends.

Bench has looked good.

Mike Vrabel, on the other hand? Is not looking good.

we were pretty hot from 3 in the 1st half - 53%.  I would have liked to get a bigger lead outta that, but oh well.

I think they played pretty good defense all around. Mirotic has a few tough 3s .
