How is Whiteside a max player?

He's been great this year. I'm genuinely shocked that out bigs have held him in check.

1st time I'm seeing him this year.

I haven't watched a full game yet, but his highlights and numbers have been impressive. I've never been a big fan, but it seems like he's stat-chasing less this year, playing as a better all-around player.

Whiteside is one of the best shot blockers. He's going to get some respect from the refs also.

Hell, at this point it doesn't matter with as many games as our bigs have missed this season. He's got to play half of the time due to a lack of serviceable bodies.

IT is forcing too much at the basket. He needs to penetrate and dish some more.
