Teague is pretty bad out there. Just wondering if he is the worst regression on the Celtics in recent years.

I remember Jermaine O'Neal being pretty awful... but what are some other classics?

Ooof, yeah Jason Terry was brutal. Courtney Lee did OK though I thought?

Terry still scored at basically the same level of efficiency as his last year in Dallas. He just took fewer shots.

I'm having trouble thinking of an example of a player who fell off so abruptly upon joining the Cs.

Jeff teague hit 65% of his attempts within 3 feet last year. This year it's 47%.

That said, Jeff Teague fell off in a big way last year, too. Two years ago he was still a solid player at least by the numbers. Last year he was bad. The Celts gambled that last year was an aberrance. Turns out it was the first stage of a precipitous decline. Bummer.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I'd offer GWill but he didn't have as far to fall as many players mentioned already.

Rasheed Walace was abysmal. We knew he wasnt the player he once was and were esentially just asking him to rebound and shoot open 3's, and he couldnt even manage that. His body was toast. Teague is different, though. He seems to still move well out there, but it seems like he has literally forgot to play the game of basketball. Some of his mistakes are absolutely unjustifiable for a 10+ year veteran. It is astounding that this is the same guy who made an all star game just 6 years ago.

Teague went down hill last year before ever coming to Boston.  He is actually shooting significantly better from 3, it is his near the rim stuff that has been awful and that just seems flukey to me.

Dominique took a pretty big fall when he came to Boston.  Now I get he was old so it wasn't exactly unexpected, but he was no where near the the 26 ppg scorer he was the prior year in Boston.  Didn't get to the line as much, shooting percentage down, rebounds down, etc.  Again he was old so it is hard to say it wasn't expected, but he was quite simply no where near the player he was.

Teague's actually played well the past couple of games.
