Clips playing inspired basketball without their superstar wings and defensive specialist guard.
Maybe we can try that next game 😬😬😬
It's like the Clippers don't have an offensive flamethrower off the bench who they're starting right now to buoy their offence alongside wings and big who can shoot and defend at a high level

I think we have to play better, but let's not compare our players outside of our core 5/6 to the depth that other contenders have.

The Sixers were playing without Embiid against the Jazz, hence Simmons could operate closer to the basket. He responded by recording 42 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 t/o on 15-26 from the floor and 11-12 from the FT line! At the same time, Gobert took only 3 shots and finished the game with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

Simmons is a 6'10" non-shooter. The closer he plays to the basket, the better. For some reason, people keep saying he can't play at C.

That would be because Mike Scott played centre, and Dwight Howard played 26 minutes off the bench... at centre

Yeah, I just looked at some advanced numbers and turns out Scott played at C. He has played 9% of his minutes at C this season. In any case, my point is that Simmons is a much better player when playing closer to the basket. Scott is a 3+D swing, not a big man. Practically speaking, their starting lineup had no C.

The thing is Simmons still didn't play centre this game, he simply can't play there .

I think this game was more of an anomaly for him, he really isn't Giannis lite and shouldn't be viewed as such just because he's a hulking 6'10 guy with good athleticism who can pass well in certain game dynamics and finish well with his physical attributes and ability to dribble/finish with both hands - he's closer to a Bam type on offence if anything.

What happened to home and away uniforms? I rather see the home whites and dark road uniforms.

They need Holiday.  The trade for him destroyed their depth so when he doesn't play they really miss him.  They beat Denver the first game he missed and haven't won since.

Giannis is going to leave the buck if they don’t win.

When he's a free agent in 2026?

Players be pulling stunts like demanding a trade, hope to see him demand one soon and it's hopefully to the Celtics!

I doubt he’s going to demand a trade given his team, despite missing their third best player for a few games, is a top 3 team in its conference.

Well he signed a contract, so he’s stuck there until Milwaukee decide otherwise. They’ve also lost ... 5 games. Five. They're still a top team in the East
