Nearly all the trades (I believe I have four or five) include 2014 1st rounders, which technically can't be traded more than one year in advance.

Which also means the trades can't be completed until draft day.

sounds good to me. Announcing them a bit early in order to allow a review period before they become official on draft day is a good idea.

I believe I will have the following players to offer in minor deals for the edges of your depth

Jimmer
Wes Johnson (aka...the Laker's 6th man and former 4th overall pick)
Wayne Ellington (aka a 6thish man for Dallas)
Lamar Odom assuming he signs a contract
Will Barton
Rodrigue Beaubois
Tony Wroten....headed to Philly to be the backup of a rookie with a TO problem

Personally I suspect 5 of these guys will be on rosters at some point this year.

For comparison to last year the first trades were announced Sept 10 and I think we drafted 3 days later
