Not a whole lot of defense in this game. Both teams got what they wanted on the offensive end and so it remained a one or two possession game pretty much the whole way. The C's pulled ahead by 8 with 2 minutes left only to have three bad trips in a row and suddenly find themselves only up by 2.

Then each of the Big 3 went to work. First KG, then Pierce, and finally Ray with a bail out three that clinched the game.

Thank goodness we had the three ball tonight. 10-20 for the C's from deep, 1-13 for the Grizzlies. Just an even game, glad to get the win.

Rondo 2
Ray 2
KG 1
Pierce 1

I could make a case for all of those players honestly.  But because he hit the Big shot, Im going;

Ray
Rondo
Pierce (hit a big shot too, but Rondo was so [dang] good the entire game)

I had 2 for Ray Ray - Clutch 3 near end and efficient game and production overall. 2 for Rondo - Another leading effort from him and great ball distribution.

1 for KG and Pierce.

Solid win and effort all around, though.

Had to spread this around as it was such a balanced effort, so one each for Ray, Rondo, Perk, Pierce, KG, and Sheed. Good win ... go Celtics!

2 for Rondo, 2 for Ray, 1 for KG and 1 for Pierce!

To add more about Ray, this is funny how, especially this season, he can have perfect nights from midrange and struggle from three or vice versa. Tonight he was 5/6 from three but couldn't buy a shot from midrange! Strange!

Also, he made some really nice dishes throughout the game and at crucial times. Best player of the game with Rondo to me.

Tried to cheat, failed.

Anyway, 3 on Rondo, 2 on Ray and 1 on Pierce.

That's how I voted, too.  Ray's shot was the biggest one of the game, so he gets top honors.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Rondo 2
Ray 2
Pierce 1
Garnett 1

Rondo set the pace all game, Ray was on the money all game and came through in the clutch, KG and Pierce played really well and helped seal the deal.
