Since there seems to be an influx of posts on tv shows, I thought I would start one on this great show.

Anyone else really like it?  I think it is a pretty creative, entertaining show.

Looking forward to next season.

This show is amazingly good, but it's not on air at the moment, so there won't be much to discuss at the moment. I love serial killer main characters, speaking of which I got to try a short lived series (probably cancelled) called Profit.

this, Entourage, and Sons of Anarchy are the best shows on TV.

One of the things that I think about the show is that the actors are pretty bad (with the exception of Michael C. Hall)  I think the plot more then makes up for the actors, but I am surprised at how much I dislike the acting skills of the majority of the rest of the cast (although Miguel Prado was pretty good also)

Show returns tonight. Season 4 looks like it's going to be really good.

Here'a trailer:

I already watched the first episode since it has been leaked, and it was really good. Don't miss it.

It only gets harder when your own children are involved.

Ive already watched 2 Dexter shows of the new season. Tomorrow will be the third. Why does anyone says the season is still not on????????
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

i feel dexter has been boring this year. i think each year has gotten worse. i loved season 1. i wish they set it up that dexter is revealed at the end of season 2 and season 3 could be about him in jail.getting interviewed, becoming a huge thing in the medai, destroying deb, his wife, that whole dynamic.
i  think this show HAS to end with him either getting caught or turning himself in. i hope so.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I like this year so far.

Dexter always talks about his "Dark Passenger". He said in the last epi that his passenger is "like a trapped coal miner always screaming to be let out"

But the only person he talks to is Harry. Is Harry the incarnation of his "dark passenger"?

I thought this season has been awesome.  This last episode was great.

And I think you got it right.  I was just noticing the past couple episodes that his whole dialogue with Harry is really just a dialogue with himself.  And Harry is his "dark side"

I like that technique. It would make more sense that Harry is his conscience, but the more you see him, the more you see he's not advocating that Dexter change, or deny his Dark Passenger. He's advocating that Dexter embrace his darker impulses, and forsake everything else in the hope of self preservation.

Its the kind of misdirection you find in a good book. One of the reasons why the show is that good.
