Silly hypothetical: One of the Kings and Lakers will finish 7th in the West and the other will finish 11th.

Which team do you want to finish where?

If the Kings finish 7th, their pick isn't nearly as good. But if you're rooting for the Kings to finish 11th, you're rooting for the Lakers to make the playoffs and how dare you?

Kings 11th & Lakers 7th.

I want the higher draft pick.  It won't bother me when the Lakers are one & done in the playoffs as a 7 seed.

Head over heart on this. What actually helps the Celtics more.

This ^, all day, every day.

Also, the Lakers just aren't good enough right now to be relevant. They're in the "who cares" section of the league.

Isn't Utah going to move up and push both teams out of the playoffs?

I want the higher draft pick.  I really don't give a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. about the Lakers.

Yeah, the Lakers aren’t winning the title, so I don’t care about them.

11th Kings easily
Higher draft pick. 12th pick or better compared to 16+

Multiple teams when healthy would be favored against LAL

The title of this thread alone is worth copious Tommy points.

This only becomes a tough hypothetical if the playoff team is one of the highest seeds/lowest picks and has a strong chance of winning a title. I don't care about the Lakers being 1st round fodder.

I don't see why this is even a question.  You take the best pick 100% of the time.

I'm worried that Utah is going to push that other LA team out of the playoffs. That could possibly cost us a first round pick.

Lol some of you are funny. The only way I wouldn't take a better pick for us is if you said it guarantees us losing the chip! While I hope the Lakers lose, I don't care over anything that has to do with us! If you say they win the chip then that's still sort of the same answer, I take the worse pick but it's ONLY because if I don't it guarantees we lose!

I just don't care enough about the Lakers to even entertain your question without laughing.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Yeah, a real NBA “Sophie’s choice” might be:

a) The Lakers and Lebron win the title; or

b) The Kings pick lands #1, conveying to Philly

I was curious to see how much Fork The Lakers sentiment there was on this board right now. I guess not as much as I thought there might be.
