What are the chances Jeremy Lin gets bought out. He's the guy I want the most for the lead bench guard role, but he makes over $13m a year so he'd be tough to trade for.

And honestly, I just think Beverly is a punk and dirty player.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Yahoo had an article about teams interested in him like the Sixers. They won’t buy him out if they can trade him.

Be great if we can get Lopez if he get bought out..release Bird

That's why you have to trade 4 players and get back 3.

Could we get Beal for Brown, Rozier and Smart? I'm not sure the salaries match but it seems like a fair trade. A Beal/Kyrie back court seems amazing. Brown, Rozier and Smart seems like a haul for the Wiz.

I posed this exact trade idea last night in the game thread when another poster brought up Beverly as a good fit.

I like the idea, and he’s the exact type of blue collar, hard nosed player that would thrive here.

Smart is our KG. I wouldn't trade him.

We aren't trading Rozier.

Why?

He's going to walk and the Celtics will get nothing for developing him. The time to get something is now.

Either Chris22 is a bot or he doesn't know how to answer that question. He keeps saying the same thing, but never answers when asked.

KG is top 50.

If you can get Beal , you haul Smart out of here

Can you imagine rolling out Beverly alongside Smart & Kyrie in those 3 guard lineups Stevens loves? Would be awesome

Yeah, because he is really helping that situation in Washington.

Well I mean, he is. He’s the reason they pushed Toronto today, he’s the reason they beat the Bucks, and he’s the reason they beat the 76ers. They’ve gotten some noteworthy East victories and near victories on the back of Beal’s excellent play

I already told you before, some fans have one perspective. This is a good example.

Smart is obviously not the player Beal is but helps the Celtics because of what he does and doesnt try to do or doesnt need to do.

Yet because Washington sucks, Beal is not "helping" them.

Hilarious takes, and it's why I have trouble conversating with Celtics fans

At the same time, I don't think you need to include Smart for Beal, you can do it other ways.

For salary purposes I think you have to include him, sadly. Beal is also a good defender.

I think Wizards would be interested in Horford + picks as well. Although I don't see them trading Beal at all. And i.m.o. it would be really stupid if they did. A young All Star under a long-term contract, what else do you want?
