Gotta go Cowens over Russell. Far more physical player.

Russell more of a finesse defender than a strong physical defender.

I know he was only here for one season but Posey was physical as heck & would get up inside you on defense.

I am thinking KC Jones over D White & Chaney in the 2nd team. KC was a bit smaller but he was strong and very physical. You hear guys talk who played against him and they rave about how he harrassed them all over the floor. Never gave them an inch. More of an on-ball pressure defender. Never left their sight. Hounded them all over the floor.

I don't know what to do at the PF position. Paul Silas was the strongest and most physical of the three. KG and McHale intimidated more with height & length. KG over McHale but whether Silas should be ahead of them or not I am unsure. In terms of pure physical play, banging into play, bodying them, pushing them out of the way ... I am thinking Silas is the guy.

You may very well be right.  I feel like there is so little coverage of the guys from the 60's (and to a certain extent the 70's) that it's tough to make some of these calls.
