Schefter says Revis may be going to the Jets. Eek.

I saw that too. I understand the Jets can offer more money, though I don't think it's a ton more. And other than money, I don't know why anyone would want to go to that awful franchise.

Ditto. Especially right now with a new coach.

Modified your thread title a bit since there is a ton of NFL stuff going on at the moment.

And a terrible QB situation. The whole offense stinks, really. The Jets D will have to hold teams to about 12 points a game to have any hope of winning anything.

No thoughts on Graham?

Quite the deal for the Seahawks.  That contract will make Wilson's contract negotiations more interesting down the road.

Potential for a pretty explosive offense next season and lessens what you need out of a very average receiving corps.

I hate anything that makes Seattle better.

Though losing Unger could hurt them, as could the loss of Legion of Boom'er Byron Maxwell (they replaced him with Cary Williams, who at 30 is 3 years older than Maxwell).

I thought Bradford was the best player in this deal by quite a margin. And Philly gets a pick for their "trouble"?! Is his contract that bad?

edit: Reports are that Philly is sending, not getting a pick. That makes more sense.

Ben Volin reports Revis wanted $40 fully guaranteed over 3 yrs and the Pats balked on that -- were reportedly ok with the amount but wanted team outs.

Am I crazy, or does this sound  reasonable for a player of Revis' stature?

Worst-case scenario: NE loses out on Revis AND Browner and gets stuck with Kyle Arrington as a starter.  :(
