And 7 fouls for Giannis and he's still playing.

I have never understood the aspect of the NBA where the superstars get help from the refs. Shouldnt it be the other way around? Lesser players getting help from refs?

The difference is the NBA places entertainment over competition so the championships are not real.

Tough loss, but I'm encouraged. They fought hard. Unfortunately Tatum was just garbage tonight and Kemba was on a minutes restriction

I kinda understand that reffing is hard, especially at the pace these guys play.

But to have the ability to review plays and still get it wrong is mind boggling. Also, I don’t understand how some plays are still not reviewable.

Giannis is frustrating to watch.  He's good enough without all of the contact that he gets away with. 

He should have fouled out when he shoved through Theis's screen.  How that went from "possible hostile act" to nothing is beyond me.

Well, easy to win when you have 8 fouls for your star player.

Still, with Kemba only playing 20 minutes and Tatum being awful to have this kind of game is encouraging.

A Tatum DNP would have been infinitely better than what we got. Tough game, but just that. One game.

If Giannis doesn’t get 8+ fouls and Tatum is just bad and not awful, we win.
