I wonder what was going on in BB's mind when the Colts were getting in that formation.  What kept him from calling a TO to stop the play?   Did he know it was an illegal formation and the Colts would be penalized?   I was yelling for him to call TO.

He was probably thinking who is the idiot who drew up this play.

Or he had his brain guy, cant remember his name, telling him from the booth that it was an illegal formation.

In the history of dumb play calls, that fake punt has to be in the top three....easily.   I have no idea what Pagano was thinking.

That was freshman football trick play stuff there.  Professionals aren't going to get tricked by that.  And then to actually snap the ball with multiple defenders in front of you?  Pure stupidity. 

Colts deserve every bit of criticism they're getting this morning.
