You just can never completely account for "Our coach isn't a complete moron and theirs is."  That's one of the biggest reasons the Pats win so many games year after year.

A competent coach and a competent passing QB seems like enough to get to 8-8 in the NFL, at the very least.

Why do so many teams have such a hard time finding that combo?

Look at how solid the Jets are just by adding a competent non-blowhard coach and replacing their crappy running QB with a solid but unremarkable game manager.

Yep but to Pagano's credit, he did call a great onside kick that the refs somehow gave to the Pats.

I can't wait to hear the explanation for that one.   Is it possible that the center just wasn't supposed to snap it?  But still, they lined up wrong.

Speaking of competent coaches and competent game managers, are the Broncos the weakest 6-0 team ever?

Seriously, though, how do you not call a TO when you see that weird punt formation?  Clearly somebody got confused.

Maybe they thought we would only line one guy over the center.

They didnt even know the rule. Maybe they were trying to get the Pats to jump. Wonder if they did jump if the illegal foration would had been flagged also.
