Just three months ago this same team led by Tatum did very well in the playoffs while Tatum played like an MVP candidate.  I don’t understand how many people here have forgotten this.  I’m going to start posting this video in various threads.

https://youtu.be/C6ufImch00g

It’s not the same team. Kemba might be toast and Gordo is gonzo.

And Tatum has never shown the ability to lead a team in the playoffs.  He is just a pretender.

https://youtu.be/Wy967FWzV3o  Did that happen?  I can’t remember.  https://youtu.be/C6ufImch00g

Man, that’s enough. Nothing on earth could consider Dallas to trade Doncic
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I'd say let's hold the fort for a few months then revisit things - give The Jays enough reps with the keys.

They've only driven this car a few miles so far.

We're not the ONLY team struggling.

Really?

Tatum and Brown should easily return Doncic. Plus extra

That’s an impossible trade, so no, not easily at all. Those two have an outgoing salary of $62.5m for Dallas, and Doncic is on a rookie deal. Not remotely possible

LOL Tatum has 2 game winning shots in 2 weeks, flirted with a triple double tonight, and OP calls him a "pretender".

And as to your ridiculous trade idea, no, the Mavs won't trade Doncic, and no, the Celtics are not trading Tatum.

That's about the only package in the entire league that might get Dallas' attention, and even then,  they wouldn't do it. Most view Doncic as a top 3 player on his way to being one of the all time greats. NBA GMs chose him on par with Greek Freak in the annual survey, and Luka is 4 years younger.

Will we have until deadline this kind of redundant post about unpossible, unlogical and undesiable trade or can the poster go in the trade idea ? Because it comes to give some allergic problems to read each days this new "ideas".

All ridiculousness aside, if you can acquire Doncic and are able to hold on to either Brown or Tatum, you do it and don't look back. DAL wouldn't even consider it, though.

If we hadn't made the Kyrie trade, I guess we could have traded up for Luka in the 2018 draft using our last Nets pick. Unfortunately, that ship has sailed. Luka is on his way to becoming a GOAT candidate. We could offer them both Tatum and Brown + picks + prospects and I bet the Mavs would still hang up the phone.

Tatum big salary doesnt kick in until next season

So a trade would be possible

Example Porzingis + Doncic for Brown and Tatum. Checks out on espn trade machine

Dallas folks would run Mark Cuban out of Dallas if he traded Luka
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin
