This team just plain SUCKS. Very typical that they'd make a little run near the end to make the score "respectable" and give us "hope"—except it's FALSE HOPE.

I hope Danny gets rid of the whole team this offseason and starts over with players who aren't softies and patsies. I hope he gets some legit size, some legit rebounders. Pathetic. Pathetic display tonight.

Danny's not going to get rid of all his assets unless there's a huge trade to be made.

The calculus isn't actually all that different now than it was a few weeks ago.  It's still going to come down to trading for AD at the draft to convince Kyrie to stay and then trying to piece together a supporting cast from what's left.

If they don't trade for AD, Kyrie joins the Knicks and then things get really interesting.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Hope Brad Stevens gives the team an absolute shellacking for falling apart in the second half AGAIN.
LOLOLOLOLOLOL
yeah, don't see that happening.  I'm not a Brad-basher but the team played the way he coaches them.  if they make say 4-5 more of the open shots they bricked, the game's a different story.  the problem with this team has always been its heavy reliance on jumpers and on a night when they're cold, they lose.

You cannot get into a rhythm when you are not allowed score inside because the other team is allowed to hack you, then you are getting called for every touch foul on the other end

Just saw a crazy stat. If you discount garbage time, the Bucks have shot 77% of the TOTAL free throws of the series.
About what we should have expected given they shoot a lot and we shoot a little.

You really are ridiculous. I understand trying to be objective, but you really have wool over your eyes if you think they haven't got a favorable call all series, especially Giannis. Kyrie has been taking it inside plenty, yet he has nowhere near the calls of Giannis.

100% agree.
Man, people need to man up around here.  They’ve been better.  Period.

Yeah, one of us is living in make believe.
Definitely not the one who think Giannis genuinely earned 21 free throws ::) Give me a break

Lucky we held on to our time outs, we really needed one there.

BRAD is smarter than us all, there is a market for NBA timeouts somewhere that we do not know about. How many did he save tonight.

It’s over.  Bring on the culling.

Cue a month and a half of Anthony Davis speculation.

Can you imagine this board if the draft passes and the Celts don't trade for him?  What about how things will look on July 5th if Kyrie has signed with the Knicks and the Celts haven't traded for anybody?

Going to be a fascinating, possibly horrible couple of months in Celtics fandom.

I don't get it.  Are you trying a reverse jinx, or are you really this much of a downer? lol

TP man. We don't always agree but you are right on the money here. I was out hiking with my girl and came back to this garbage. Within a minute I could see this wasn't going to be reffed like a normal NBA game.

Kyrie won't get FT's until he's in a preferred market. He's a better player in many ways than Harden but gets treated like trash. You'd think the NBA would want to treat its winningest franchise better. But we are near the bottom of the league in FTs no matter what personnel we field. This league has gotten worse than FIFA. And that's about a rough a condemnation as I can deliver.

It's too bad, because the sport is a delight and the history is amazing. What a shame.

Didn't use his last one when we were down 6 with 6 seconds to go. Literally why? Not even pretending to think we have a chance.

Ya Droopdog is right on this one. Why are people so surprised? We dont get to the line, we dont go inside, so we almost always are on the losing end of the FT battle. The other team has a 6'11 guy with guard skills who literally has Freek in his knickname. Not every call has been right, but the vats majority has been earned.

If Marcus doesn’t come back next game they are done. Too many guys getting lit up, crappy defense, no heart.

LarBrd says we are better without Smart.

Oh for sure, I hold Brad accountable for the reuslts as well, but right now he's the only one who can turn things around by changing his schemes.

Again this game turned on a run in the 3rd quarter, not as big as last game but it gave them a 10 pt lead and then we lost composure chasing it, giving up 11 points to Hill in the 3rd and 17 overall and 14 to connaufhton, there’s the game right there.

I don’t think our season is over...we’re more than capable of winning one over there. It’s a game of runs, we didn’t stop 2 of them and led to 2 losses.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

The Milwaukee REFS.

Wow, Never seen a team allowed to use their off Hand, while dribbling ALL game long and not get called for it.

Refs kept them in this game. Knew it was RIGGED right from the start when Hayward didn't get to the line when he got tackled by Bledsoe on that early drive to the hoop.

did you see any appeal from your docile coach?

Disappointed with the second half effort, bad calls or not. The reason they lost the game is because they got zero production out of their bench. None. Hayward needs to take a look in the mirror because he is pure trash right now.

They gave up like 30 pts to Hill/Connaughton. Pretty much says it all.
