aw man nice drive by JB!
wouldnt fall tho!
Missing some easy ones...
Unfortunately that feels like it's been the case all year long. Missing easy shots early.
Already behind by 7 early as well to a bad team :(
-
TATUM!
-
ok nice drive JB and go to the line. nice

They seem to miss more bunnies this year than ever....
-
now they are aggressive and running. fun game when they do that. ;D
-
now they are aggressive and running. fun game when they do that. ;D
YES!!!!!!!!!
-
I just hope this isn't one of those games where another unexpected guy (in this case, Vonleh) puts up 40+ on us :P
-
Brown is a good defender.
-
Getting sloppy....
-
Might not be a bad idea for us to just stay close with the Knicks.
Because you know a 20 point lead early on is never going to hold on for this team :P
-
Kanter average like 40 rebound vs Celtics
-
good
get to line early
good things happen in the paint
-
Might not be a bad idea for us to just stay close with the Knicks.
Because you know a 20 point lead early on is never going to hold on for this team :P
Who needs a 20 point lead when you can trail by 20 and then beat them at the buzzer. ;)
-
Getting sloppy....
yup
-
I’m ready to try Theis over Baynes.
-
Really? My goodness... make shots!
-
I’m ready to try Theis over Baynes.
fine by me
-
Another lifeless start. How soon before we are down 15?
-
If Hayward isn't going to take those layups he needs to sit.
-
Really? My goodness... make shots!
yup down 11 already
-
we haven't improved at all yet
-
Another lifeless start. How soon before we are down 15?
We aren't already? That's surprising...
-
geez, celtics missing an incredible number of easy or open shots. :o they are open, they just cant Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing shot!!
-
I’m sad.
-
Team is playing scared...vs the Knicks?
-
Okay if we can't beat the Knicks at home, then I'll admit something is really wrong right now...
-
Hey Celtics. Wake the Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. up.
-
geez, celtics missing an incredible number of easy or open shots. :o they are open, they just cant ****ing shot!!
I have never seen so many shots go in and out...
-
Ok, it’s official, we really need a 2nd scorer. Was to be Hayward but has long way to go. Tatum too young to realize he is next in line.
Yep, we are in a bit of trouble
-
Okay if we can't beat the Knicks at home, then I'll admit something is really wrong right now...
very concerning
-
This team should be able to score, but they can't...
-
I just don't get it. Everyone looks like Fultz.
-
Ok, it’s official, we really need a 2nd scorer. Was to be Hayward but has long way to go. Tatum too young to realize he is next in line.
Yep, we are in a bit of trouble
i'd like a 3 point specialist to come off bench with MOOK. someone we can depend on for threes. and give us more bench scoring
-
I just don't get it. Everyone looks like Fultz.
So true ;D
-
Well, 4 points to end the quarter and get it back to single digits.
Need a fast start to the 2nd.
-
great defense!
-
Okay if we can't beat the Knicks at home, then I'll admit something is really wrong right now...
Agree!! If they lose, im going to quit watching and wait till summer of 2019 😝
-
I just don't get it. Everyone looks like Fultz.
we just need to keep going to rim. we will just have to figure out to hit open JAYS. we have to fight through this spell. unless it is a chemistry issue also still.
-
If this Celtics squad can't score at least 25 a quarter there is something really wrong.
-
plenty of time left and the knicks suck eggs. celtics will win this one!! ;D
-
There is no urgency and desperation they played with last year.
-
To watch this team playing like they are rn is worse than watching Mourinho's United this year, at least United is showing signs of improvement.
-
If this Celtics squad can't score at least 25 a quarter there is something really wrong.
agreed.
-
THERE YA GO GO TO RIM BOYS!
-
There is no urgency and desperation they played with last year.
good point. CBS told them in the last time out that if they didnt defend their man he wouldn't play them. good.
-
If this Celtics squad can't score at least 25 a quarter there is something really wrong.
True.
-
Brown, Irving, Rozier, Baynes and Tatum are 2-12...
-
There is no urgency and desperation they played with last year.
It's funny because they still seem to show urgency/desperation when up against the likes of MIL, TOR, PHI (elite teams). But against NYK, CHA, etc. they don't show it. Strange... :(
-
hustle!!! ;D
-
That was a heck of a traffic rebound by Smart earlier to keep it alive for the C's. At least someone is playing with effort out there.
-
THERE YA GO GO TO RIM BOYS!
yes please
KNICKS have no rim protection like hornets
KEEP GOING TO RIM PLEASE!
-
We're getting lit up by Vonleh and Robinson. Not acceptable.
-
Time to get Hayward out. We've been awful with him on the floor.
-
keep drawing fouls go to rim
defense has to step up
-
No one on this team can throw a lob pass.....
-
This is really pathetic. There's no way a bad team like the Knicks can just "weather a storm" then put up a 6-0 run like that to go back up 12. Something is really off about this C's team.
-
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
-
either we go to rim or we MAY shoot ourselves out this game. we cannot throw it in the ocean from outside
-
theis is in
-
What a bad call on Brown!!!
-
What a PATHETIC effort. I'm glad the fans are booing our players.
-
the boo birds are out in TD GARDEN!
not GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
come on brad
-
Time for Brad to go with the deep bench. This is downright embarrassing.
-
holy crap!!!!! celtics are 0-9 on three point shots!!!
-
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
Might be good idea to shut him down for a few weeks
-
Yikes.
-
No one on this team can throw a lob pass.....
i know
last year we did it all the time
smart and theis were great at PNR also
-
Down 16 at home to the knicks. No life. No desperation. We suck.
-
...and Robert Williams couldn't bring anything to this mess....
-
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
He has a long long way to go. Will he ever get back to Aal Star for? For our sake, I hope so. We are not getting out of second round with Hayward
-
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
Might be good idea to shut him down for a few weeks
News flash...This team looks just as bad with Hayward off the floor
-
Time for Brad to go with the deep bench. This is downright embarrassing.
wanna be a shot taker
shot maker
wanna be BRAD
WANNA MAKER!
-
The boos are well-deserved. Team is playing awful on both ends
-
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
Might be good idea to shut him down for a few weeks
That's the last thing we should do. He has to play to get a rhythm.
-
Can’t wait for us to start beating up on the bad teams.
Right.
-
The problem is...their all the problem!
-
Yikes down 16 to the Knicks... This is pathetic. Any team in the nba can beat us right now.
What we lack is a guy like Larry bird who played with the same competitive drive regardless of who the opponents are.
-
Down 16 at home to the knicks. No life. No desperation. We suck.
No surprise ...
-
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .

News flash...This team looks just as bad with Hayward off the floor
They really do. They need to play some of those hungry deep bench guys if the starters and bench guys don't want to bring it.
-
Best case scenario is that the boos energize the players.
Otherwise... this could be a really, really long night. Big stretch coming up.
-
Time for Brad to go with the deep bench. This is downright embarrassing.
wanna be a shot taker
shot maker
wanna be BRAD
WANNA MAKER!
heck put in me the game. i can miss just as well as the celtics and do it for half the salary! ;D
-
Mitchell Robinson looking good.
-

Every team lacks a Larry Bird lol

GREAT BLOCK THEIS!!!!!!!!!!
THE THEISMAN A COMETH!
-
GREAT BLOCK THEIS!!!!!!!!!!
THE THEISMAN A COMETH!
THEISMAN
-
0-9 from 3. Contually throwing the ball away
-
how the hell can kyrie miss THAT pass?
-
No one, I repeat no one on this team can throw a lob!
-
Time for Brad to go with the deep bench. This is downright embarrassing.
wanna be a shot taker
shot maker
wanna be BRAD
WANNA MAKER!

bwahahahahahha TRUE!
-
Vonleh has turned into a pretty good player
-
more Boos
getting bad
-
This looks like a Globetrotters vs the Washington Generals out there...
-
We look old, slow and tired.
-
30% from the field, 0-10 from 3.
I just don't understand how we continue to miss open shots.
And free throws.
-
JT with a 3
finally
-
Hey Brad, do something different!!!!!!!!!!
-
dont have to worry bout Kings pick in the lottery cause WE will be in the lottery also if they keep this up all year
-
Hey Brad, do something different!!!!!!!!!!
yep
anything
-
Getting lit up by Burke like this. I just don't know what to say.
-
Knicks just comfortable throwing things up -- not missing. Celtics just miserable.
This one is absolutely shocking. Shocking.
-
so we SHOULDA been in FINALS last year
WITHOUT
kyrie, Gh and theis
but we have all 3 back and we are terrible?
something is wrong
-
:o
-
dont have to worry bout Kings pick in the lottery cause WE will be in the lottery also if they keep this up all year
;D
-
DA ain't gonna be happy folks
-
Even if we come back this game is still a loss. To let a team like the Knicks run all over us, really not good.
-
This team is a mess
-
Burke with 15 off the bench before halftime. I can’t stand this.
-
I’m out.
-
ok VONLEh is protecting rim
and hitting threes
WTH????????????
-
I’m out.
Goodnight...
-
26 point deficit before halftime. What a disgrace.
-
If I hear one more fan say, “wait until our shots start to fall”.
-
I’m out.
k have a great night! happy thanksgiving!
-
ok VONLEh is protecting rim
and hitting threes
WTH????????????
Looking like AD out there....
-
lol I'm not going waste my data to watch this ****...notify me when we stop playing like ****
-
Yikes down 16 to the Knicks... This is pathetic. Any team in the nba can beat us right now.
What we lack is a guy like Larry bird who played with the same competitive drive regardless of who the opponents are.
Every team lacks a Larry Bird lol
Lol I don't mean literally. Just a leader with a strong competitive drive day in day out, we don't have it.
-
ok VONLEh is protecting rim
and hitting threes
WTH????????????
Looking like AD out there....
crazy pills
-
three pointers....
knicks 8 for 16
celtics 1 for 13
-

Lol ik, was just joking for a bit. I'd trade Hayward, Kyrie and Horford for prime Larry Bird though
-
I’m not able to watch, but I saw the score. What the hell is happening?!
-
I just got out of the hospital. Life is too short for this.
-
three pointers....
knicks 8 for 16
celtics 1 for 13
WOW
i am not even mad anymore
something is wrong
-
dont have to worry bout Kings pick in the lottery cause WE will be in the lottery also if they keep this up all year
Tank for Zion!
-
wish we had a rim protector!!!
-
Tommy is right, they keep giving Burke the open lane and then are surprised when he takes it and scores every time.
-
wow, I get a late start tonight because I was washing my van, and I check back in and we are getting blitzed by 20+ by the NYK....dear lord.
-
1 for 13 from 3. How is this possible that this team is playing this poorly. Meanwhile Knicks are shooting 50% from 3.
I am sick.
Trey Burke averaging 12 pg, with 18 already.
-
What the....
-
I’m not able to watch, but I saw the score. What the hell is happening?!
we don't know thats just it
no D
no oitside shots
we are tryingt o to to rim
-
Tatum has decided he needs to step up, simply because nobody else is. Brown is lost.
-
wish we had a rim protector!!!
We do but he's not dressed for the game...
-
I’m not able to watch, but I saw the score. What the hell is happening?!
We panic like always. Can’t hit shots and refuse to work inside. Matador defense.
-
Our freakin Defense is making Burke look like A. I once again.
Burke likes playing the Cs I can tell.
-
wish we had a rim protector!!!
We do but he's not dressed for the game...
lol
-
We’re a dumb team
-
so is it the same old same old bad shooting tonight that is killing us?
-
I’m not able to watch, but I saw the score. What the hell is happening?!
We panic like always. Can’t hit shots and refuse to work inside. Matador defense.
Ugh. Knicks doing their best pitch to Kyrie, lol
-
The biggest difference to me is last years team was out there having fun and this years team is tight and not enjoying playing basketball. Watch a game from last year with all the emotion and guys playing loose and smiling then watch any game from this year.
I don't know what exactly is causing it but to me that's the difference I see.
-
We drafted Robert Williams to play against the long young centers in the NBA but he doesn't even dress for games....
-
again
so we SHOULDA been in FINALS last year
WITHOUT
kyrie, Gh and theis
but we have all 3 back and we are terrible?
something is wrong
-
I still have confidence they'll be good come Playoff time.
It's just that it gets lower and lower every game.
-
We drafted Robert Williams to play against the long young centers in the NBA but he doesn't even dress for games....
Well if we are going to lose by 20+ to the knicks either way, then sure, might as well play Williams.
-
again
so we SHOULDA been in FINALS last year
WITHOUT
kyrie, Gh and theis
but we have all 3 back and we are terrible?
something is wrong
At this point we should try sitting out Kyrie and Hayward lol jk
-
Watching on a bit of a delay, but yet another example of our brilliant coaching staff just completely failing to have our guys ready.
And how many bad habits they've picked up is beyond me. I've counted at least a half dozen instances where our guys have had a layup and kicked it out for a three. And this isn't even mentioning the fact of there being no offensive discipline of our guys. While Smart is pretty much the only guy giving heart on both sides of the ball tonight, the fact that he can come down and jack up a pull up three on an offensive rebound with 12+ seconds left on the shot clock with impunity is inexcusable. Missing free throws and open shots like they're halfcourt heaves - clearly it's in our heads at this point, and this is something our coaching staff should be addressing.
We're down by nearly 30 at halftime to a scrub Knicks team. It's time for a change in coaching. Stevens needs to be on the hot seat, because he's failing this team and it's clear that the players are simply not responding to him.
-
I still have confidence they'll be good come Playoff time.
It's just that it gets lower and lower every game.
Your numbers are dwindling
-
We drafted Robert Williams to play against the long young centers in the NBA but he doesn't even dress for games....
Well if we are going to lose by 20+ to the knicks either way, then sure, might as well play Williams.
Exactly. At least he brings energy, I'd also like to see Semi, Yabu and Wannamaker get some time. The Celtics need some energy, badly...
-
I still have confidence they'll be good come Playoff time.
It's just that it gets lower and lower every game.
the thing is we have screamed for two YEARS NOW at times because we refuse to go to hoop either when we need to or enough
we SEEM to have went to hoop PLENTY last game and this game
the bigger issue?
NO D AND NO OUTSIDE SHOTS FALLING
-

Cut it to 16 by the half. Tons of time to win this game.
-
Kantor is in there for offensive rebounds. Maybe box him out once in a while?
-
How do you even explain this ?
-

yup
-
We’re letting other teams guards get way to much penetration early in clock and we are walking ball up forcing late offense
-
I miss the energy that Shane Larkin used to bring last year. No one is doing that this year....
-
5 OFFENSIVE BOARDS FOR KANTER
OMG terrible
-
Hayward looks very good tonight
-
30% from the field, 0-10 from 3.
I just don't understand how we continue to miss open shots.
And free throws.
Because it's in our heads, just exacerbating our issues.
-
Cut it to 16 by the half. Tons of time to win this game.
I am not giving up. we NEED this game badly
-
gotta get dem boardsS
-
Brad, please stick with this group to start the second half.
-
Hayward looks very good tonight
I agree.
-
gotta get dem boardsS
hahahahah
ENES KANTER LAUGHS AT U!
-
Cut it to 16 by the half. Tons of time to win this game.
I completely agree. We can still win the game. We did it over and over and over again last season and a few times this year.
The problem is you can't expect to make miraculous comebacks night in and night out. There is something wrong in a basic way if you are forced to come from behind every single game.
-
Anyone still think Hayward is the problem?
-
Cut it to 16 by the half. Tons of time to win this game.
That's not even the point - maybe we come back and win, but falling behind like this to a bad Knicks team shows that this team has serious problems.
-
Team's flat as a blown tire...
-
Hayward looks very good tonight
I agree.
Timed it well, lol. If only anybody else could too, then we might have a chance!
-
They’ll come back and win. Just not in a good place at the moment though. :o
-
Anyone still think Hayward is the problem?
He's responsible for getting us back in the game, both on defense and offense. Looks great so far tonight
-
That was beautiful Celtics basketball last few positions. Smart basketball, moving without the ball basketball, backdoor cuting to basket basketball. Keep it up
Need to find a way to limit NYK offensive rebounds
-
Cut it to 16 by the half. Tons of time to win this game.
After being down 26, cutting it to 16 is at least a sign of life.
But giving up 65 in the half to the #21 offense in the league is shameful.
Hopefully we've just seen this team's rock bottom.
-
How do you even explain this ?
right
we are FINALLY going to RIm two games in a row!
result? lost first and getting killed second game
common denominators?
ZERO D and ZERO OUTSIDE SHOOTING
sadly outweighing our attacking rim efforts
it almost looks purely PSYCHOLOGICAL at this point
but this is what brad is paid for
Danny has to be getting tired of this
-
gotta get dem boardsS
hahahahah
ENES KANTER LAUGHS AT U!
i'm normally a big al supporter....
but jeez
it's rough right now
-
Does Brown get benched to start the second half?
-
I don't understand why the Knicks guards keep easily getting into the paint against our defense.
Our top rated D giving up 65 points in the first half to the Knicks is awful
-
So I'm not listening to Gorman/Tommy (on mute) -- so I'm not hearing how frequently C's have given 2nd chance points. But seems like Kantor has cleaned up half-dozen misses or so. Unbelievably frustrating.
On the bright side, Knicks might be cooling and C's appear to be putting the ball in the hoop finally. Still a sickly 1 for 13 from 3.
C's need to dominate the 2nd half.
-
Team's flat as a blown tire...
well it is up to brad to have team prepped and ready
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
-
gotta get dem boardsS
hahahahah

Yeah, Kanter with 5 offensive boards, I think every one of them ended up with the Knicks scoring
-
Team's flat as a blown tire...
That was funny.
Someone needs to jack up our guys a bit for each game. I know Brad doesn't seem like that type of coach, but maybe Smart / Mook / Horford need to get in everyones face in the pregame and ask them if they are ready to play. haha...I am grasping at straws, we just aren't playing well.
KG would be taking names and the four letter words would be flying....
-

Yeah, 7% from the 3 tonight. That's unbelievable, 7%...
-
I don't understand why the Knicks guards keep easily getting into the paint against our defense.
Our top rated D giving up 65 points in the first half to the Knicks is awful
Knicks guards are also hot shooting from outside.
-
Hayward has a positive effect on the game even without hitting from the outside.
Stevens obviously doesn't feel Baynes has value. His minutes are evaporating every game.
-

as i posted previously
5 O baords and putbacks
-
It’s a male miss league. And the three point shooting issues continue. One for 13 is hideous and while we can call it a fluke, there’s probably more to it. Guys are comfortable and the offense overall is ragged at best. Add the fact that we don’t have pure shooters and this is what we get.
What I’m not sure is what it’s going to take to turn it around?
-
When the top defensive team in the league suddenly allows 65 pts in the first half alone to a team that barely scores 50 then you have a problem.
Burying ourselves and trying to get out of this pitting quicksand we are in is always a bad thing.
I frankly have no idea to fix this as we are getting the shots we wanted but not making them... But to let a scrub team score at will.. Then there is something really wrong with the Cs.
-

yep all put back or scored

Need to find a way to limit NYK offensive rebounds
Need to find a way ? Are you kidding me ?
It's no big secret - you make it a priority, you work, you block out the opponent, you work harder, you play aggressively, you work harder still, you refuse to be denied a rebound and you keep working very hard !!

At least it’s not Evan Turner 2.0’s fault ;)

When the top defensive team in the league suddenly allows 65 pts in the first half alone to a team that barely scores 50 then you have a problem.
Burying ourselves and trying to get out of this pitting quicksand we are in is always a bad thing.
I frankly have no idea to fix this as we are getting the shots we wanted but not making them... But to let a scrub team score at will.. Then there is something really wrong with the Cs.
right i mean we are going to rim. so not mad on that
we are getting wide open shots and not contested so not mad on that
but we cannot make anythimg
and ZERO D
-
I don't understand why the Knicks guards keep easily getting into the paint against our defense.
Our top rated D giving up 65 points in the first half to the Knicks is awful
Knicks guards are also hot shooting from outside.
Yeah, but we could live with that , they can't keep it up. Letting teams shoot layups and putbacks all night though is the stuff that leads you to being down 20
-

Its an illusion. Sure, there getting into the paint but what makes them look so good are the outside shots they’re hitting. Burke has 18 largely on long low percentage shots that are going in.
-
Celtics win by 10 tonight, calling it now
-
It’s a male miss league.
It's all in their heads at this point. Their confidence and morale is low and when they miss shots they know they should be making the group collectively panics because they know they will be hammered for it by media, coach, fans, etc at the end of the game and it then manifests themselves in other parts of their game, particularly on the defensive end.
They need a sports psychologist is what they need. Either that or some shots to start falling to give them some confidence.
-

I am gonna say 6

The offense is stil the issue. I honestly think the bad offense is affecting the defense as well.
-
Need to find a way to limit NYK offensive rebounds
Need to find a way ? Are you kidding me ?
It's no big secret - you make it a priority, you work, you block out the opponent, you work harder, you play aggressively, you work harder still, you refuse to be denied a rebound and you keep working very hard !!
To be fair, kanter always kills us because that’s the only thing he does.

You may be exactly right. With young players especially they let their shooting woes impact their def. They are still thinking / worrying about that last shot they missed, or turnover they made, and then the def goes to Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

I'm not sure what I'm more disappointed by, our defense or our offense. According to Mike the Knicks have been giving up 125 points per game on their 6 game losing streak. We mustered 18 in the 1st quarter.
But watching our defense give up so many points to Burke, Vonleh, and Robinson is pretty nausea-inducing as well.
Just tough to watch.
-
Yikes down 16 to the Knicks...
Lol ik, was just joking for a bit. I'd trade Hayward, Kyrie and Horford for prime Larry Bird though
Oh yea I would make that trade in a split second.
-
Celtics win by 10 tonight, calling it now

tp for both of you for the optimism. ;D
lots of time left folks, celtics can do this!

Prime Larry Bird in today's NBA rules would be even more amazing and unstoppable than he was in his era. I'd trade anybody in the league today for prime Larry Bird.

It’s all connected. Hopefully someone is threw some chairs around in the locks room at half.
-
If the C's don't come out of the half with great intensity, I think it would be safe to assume that there's serious discord between the players and/or coaching staff. Being down like this to a lowly Knicks team at home shouldn't sit well with anyone, and quite honestly it shouldn't take a situation like this to play hard.
-
Please pass the ball. Those first two offensive possessions were terrible.
-
Hayward hits the no count 3.
-
He pulled Tatum for playing hero ball to start the half
-
Kyrie, Hayward, Morris, Tatum, and Horford to start. I like it, at least short-term. We have to start games better now.
And now Brown in a minute into the game for Tatum? Finally making a statement to the young guys?
-
Can't make a shot.
-
More missed open looks. Sigh
-
Man, they need to think score when they drive.
-
Can't make a shot.
HEY AT LEAST WE ARE GOING TO RIM!
-
Horford passes out to a Hayward three when he had an open lane to the basket... I don't remember Big Al being like that before this year.
-

I could quite seriously see him averaging 35/12 plus however many assists he could muster. The increased 3 ball dependency, the ticky tacky fouls and his insane efficiency would blow this league to pieces.
-
YES BROWN AT THE RIM FOR TWO!!!!!!!!!
TO KNICKS!
YES!
-
Kyrie the purest shooter we have. So get him more shots as he won’t keep missing. Everyone else hot and cold.
-
celtics can not buy a basket. :P
-
YES BROWN AT THE RIM FOR TWO!!!!!!!!!
TO KNICKS!
YES!
BROWNIE
-
I maintain that our problem on-court is defense - the effort is simply not there.
The offense is a combo of not moving the ball well and psychological shooting slumps.
Off-court ?? Something is very wrong. Any of the key players could probably tell you if willing, though I am not suggesting that would be a good idea to state publicly.
-
Misses aside I like how they came out this half.
-
That was a great pass by Kyrie to Brown for that shot.
Kyrie passed it way before Brown even knew it was coming.
-
He pulled Tatum for playing hero ball to start the half
Yup. Don’t need fade-away shots. Need to keep moving it.
-
Hallelujah! Kyrie and then Jaylen finishes.
Knicks 0 for the quarter. C's not taking advantage till last 2 trips. Time to put the pressure on -- not let Knicks get comfortable again.
And... my goodness -- Kantor just dominates the C's.
-
11
-
11 points, and if they had made ANY of those easy shots this half it be single digits.
okay, celtics need to play each and every possession aggressivley. and same on defense.
they can win this game.
-
He pulled Tatum for playing hero ball to start the half
Yup. Don’t need fade-away shots. Need to keep moving it.
Stevens finally realized its time to start coaching, great benching IMO
-
Wow we made a couple shots in a row. Cmon guys keep playing real hard and we may be able to steal this game from the lottery team.
-
What a flop.
-
Somehow Kantor's only got 7 boards. Seems like he's had a hand on 20.
-
You can’t give him that flop. Man!
-
What a flop.
ouch.
-
Come on Boston -- score!!
-
What a flop.
Complete with extra oomf on the groan
-
Kanter makes every defensive rebound an adventure
-
Man this is a tremendous defensive start but we can't capitalize offensively. So frustrating.
-
I really don't like our uniforms.
-
I really don't like our uniforms.
I really don't like our play.
-
I don't understand this. Put your body on Kanter and get low and keep him off the offensive boards. Do it every time.
-
Jesus Christ.
-
Unbelievable. C's in need of turning this around have scored 2 trips this half
-
How is the offense so bad?
-
I don't understand this. Put your body on Kanter and get low and keep him off the offensive boards. Do it every time.
^and if he pushes flop, also give him the elbow/shove on the offensive glass.
-
I really don't like our uniforms.
I really don't like our play.
I agree
-
these in the paint kickouts are on brad
saw his interview with scal other day on it
i get it but only if a bigger guy will get a block
al is kickimg it out at 2 feet out
-
I really don't like our uniforms.
It’s not the uniforms. It’s the guys wearing them.
-
I really don't like our uniforms.

No, I don't like the uniforms.
-
Jaylen Brown with the physical post up
I love it.

zero rim protection is killing us
-
I really don't like our uniforms.

No, I don't like the uniforms.
It's like a weird home version of the old St Patrick's day uniform, except this one is quite ugly
-
keep going to hoop
play some D
hit open 3's if rim protected
-
Who's supposed to be guarding Vonleh? He's killing us.
-
I really don't like our uniforms.

No, I don't like the uniforms.

yeah i do not like it either
give me black alternates
or traditional white or green
-
Keep the pressure on and get it to single digits at the end of the quarter and they'll be in good shape.
-

I dont mind the green socks, but the jersey itself looks way too Fighting Irish ND to me.
-
Nice finish Marcus.
Vonleh averaging 7 and 8 already has 14 and 10.
-
Who's supposed to be guarding Vonleh? He's killing us.
vonleh? RW3!
but he is on bench sorry!
-
defense is too soft, but if the celtics were hitting the open shots they would be close or ahead.
2 -18 on threes. my god. if they shot even 33% it would mean 12 more points.
-
Who's supposed to be guarding Vonleh? He's killing us.
The exact type of player Robert Williams should be matched up with....
-

KABOOM
-
Someone other than KI hits a three!
-
Who's supposed to be guarding Vonleh? He's killing us.
vonleh? RW3!
but he is on bench sorry!
I don't think RW3 is even on the bench...
-
16 and 10 for vonleh
simply unacceptable
-
Who's supposed to be guarding Vonleh? He's killing us.
vonleh? RW3!
but he is on bench sorry!
I don't think RW3 is even on the bench...
Street clothes or Maine?
-

vonleh? RW3!
but he is on bench sorry!
I don't think RW3 is even on the bench...
street clothes? WOW
-
I think Vonleh might be starting in the all star game.
-
Nice play Jaylen
-
A layup!
-
get it to 5
-
Got to keep scoring. Let's go.
-
Keep Baynes on the bench
-
Lol, Kyrie to the refs about Kanter's obvious violation: 'That's a ****ing violation'
-
alley oop to JAYBEE
-
What a pass by Kyrie
-
Kyrie -- nice pass; nice D.
-
Kyrie doing a great job of leading this team by example right now.
-
baynes is not rolling to rim
bench him
put in theis who can roll
-
ALIVE!!!!
-
I don't want to see Rozier
-
Ughhhhhhh. Hate the Baynes 3 so much
-
So many open misses. So frustrating.
-
Ughhhhhhh. Hate the Baynes 3 so much
yup
-
I don't want to see Rozier
I don't want to see him on the bench, let alone on the court
-
Am I the only one that cringe every time Baynes takes a 3?
-
geez man
down 12 again
-
I don't want to see Rozier
I don't want to see him on the bench, let alone on the court
lol
-
Terry goes immediate hero ball mode once he's put into the game. 3 selfish shots in a row.
-
Ugh, just trade Rozier already.
-
I don't want to see Rozier
I don't want to see him on the bench, let alone on the court
Lol. He's so effing stupid. Continues to drive at the 7 foot shot blocker
-
maybe it's just me but it seems every time Rozier comes in the game the C's offense gets even worse.
-
And C's back down 15. After all that. C's win the quarter by 1 point.
This is a very sad game.
-
down 15
not what we wanted
needed it down to 5 or 6 or at least 8
-
Man, this team is AWFUL right now.
-
Pathetic end to the quarter. Trade Rozier, he's a complete bum
-
Lol this team is a joke right now. Just a complete failure by the coaching staff to address this slump and get these guys' heads turned around.
Don't even have any kind of discipline or respect from the players. They just do what they want with impunity.
-
Holding the Knicks to 19 in the 3rd should've been good enough to gain a little ground but Celtics could only muster 20 of their own points. Ugh.
-
not looking good
oh well
DA needs to meet with brad
this is why they get paid the big bucks
-
maybe it's just me but it seems every time Rozier comes in the game the C's offense gets even worse.
He plays so selfishly.
-
Rozier just makes my eyes bleed....
11 minutes and a -18...
-
Terry should have taken the extension. His value is dropping like a rock
-
Pathetic end to the quarter. Trade Rozier, he's a complete bum
he is gone. matter of when. i doubt DA even keeps him until next year for a AD package
prolly gone this year for immediate help
-
The effort was there and the defense good, esp early in the quarter. Just can't capitalize for whatever psychological reason that our players can't make open shots.
-
Terry missing the last shot not why we stink
-
Pathetic is right.
We are losing badly to a terrible team. C's completely unable to come back despite Knicks basically handing us opportunity after opportunity. 2 of 19 from 3. And the open looks have there. I can't stand this.
-
3 for 22 on threes. This trend has continued over the last few ga,es
-
well, that was one p---y finish to the quarter. not a good scoring line up in at the end. only tatum can really shoot.
well, celtics have to play hard on defense and make some danged shots. 3 for 22 from three just isnt doing it. :(
-
Good news is our own draft pick may be in the lottery. Bad news is Kyrie won’t want to stay with this dumpster fire.
-
celtics 8 for 55 at threes last two home games
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWO
-
This team has angered the basketball gods...
Scrub teams getting the shots they want and it goes in and the Cs get the shot they want and they brick it.
-
Feeling a comeback.
-
Robinson killing us inside. Williams is better than him.
Wake up Brad.
-
Robinson killing us inside. Williams is better than him.
Wake up Brad.
good luck
-
It feels like Kyrie has some decent chemistry with Brown. Maybe Kyrie is trying to get him involved.
-
Feeling a comeback.
Not with missed free throws >:(
-
3 for 22 on threes. This trend has continued over the last few games
Well Brad thinks this team will be due one of these days... Aint happening at home though.
-
Lol the crowd giving a sarcastic cheer when we finally take it to the rim and get to the free throw line.
The fact that we are missing so many free throws highlights our clear psychological issues right now.
-
It feels like Kyrie has some decent chemistry with Brown. Maybe Kyrie is trying to get him involved.
Too bad he's been benched for Rozier. Ugh. Would rather Wanamaker get minutes
-
Wow tonight’s rock bottom
-
If Tatum throws it up to al it’s an easy two right there.
-
Even the Knick's scrubs can make 3's Why can't we?
-
Robinson killing us inside. Williams is better than him.
Wake up Brad.
Why can't Robert Williams play and Robinson can?
-
we gotta play better def and NO turnovers if we want to come back.
-
If Danny asks for anything more than a piece of used toilet paper for Rozier, every GM in the league would laugh him off the phone.
-
and that is prolly the ballgame down 20
-
Who's defending Knox?
-
Wow, not the most encouraging performance ever...yikes...inching towards panicland
-
What's the point of Horford popping if he never shoots?
-
Robinson killing us inside. Williams is better than him.
Wake up Brad.
Defense is not the issue. The offense is awful.
-
Who's defending Knox?
guy in 4th row behind brad
-
Games over.
This team the definition of insanity
-
At least Brad benched Rozier after his awful play. Terry can rot on the bench for the next 5 games for all I care.
-
we gotta play better def and NO turnovers if we want to come back.
EL OH EL
-
3 for 22 on threes. This trend has continued over the last few games
Well Brad thinks this team will be due one of these days... Aint happening at home though.
This entire offensive philosophy is such a joke.
-
Robinson was my predraft binkie. Great.
-
Maybe we’ll make the next ten threes to even things out?
-
I have no more words for this team.
-
Games over.
This team the definition of insanity
Brad play someone else. Play Semi, Play Williams, Play Wannamaker, Play Yabu, do something. This game is like a slowmo car crash....
-
Robinson was my predraft binkie. Great.
Same >:(
Kyrie with some excellent defence at least.
-
The goal at this point should be just to play really tough def and at least try to get to the rim. We aren't coming back in this game with our 3 point shooting.
Good think I jinxed us on that and GH nailed a 3. lol
-
I mean for the most part Boston is not even competitive anymore in games sans the Raptors and Bulls game. They are getting down 15 plus on a nightly basis
-
What's the point of Horford popping if he never shoots?
Yeah, I've noticed that, too. He's lost so much confidence in his three that he doesn't even really look to shoot now, which just kind of takes his advantage away as a stretch 5. That's a big part of our offensive struggles.
-
Every night, Kyrie plays hard whether he's making shots or not. Rozier honestly looks like he has a foot out the door.
-
That needs retaliation!
-
That's a flagrant!!!
-
this team's shooting is beyond any explanation. every player in the league goes through a slump offensively at some point but how can every player on the same team go through a slump all at the same time?
I'm at a loss to even offer a thought as to what can be done to address this mess.
-
Wow, not the most encouraging performance ever...yikes...inching towards panicland
i am concerned
-
Every night, Kyrie plays hard whether he's making shots or not. Rozier honestly looks like he has a foot out the door.
Looks like he has a foot caught in the door...
-
I almost broke down and bought League Pass but went with the NHL package. I am thankful now. The Celtics bring me absolutely no joy and are playing basketball that is not worth watching
-
What's the point of Horford popping if he never shoots?
Yeah, I've noticed that, too. He's lost so much confidence in his three that he doesn't even really look to shoot now, which just kind of takes his advantage away as a stretch 5. That's a big part of our offensive struggles.
He’s probably not a ting to settle. Plus, he hasn’t really been open except for that last one,
-
That's a flagrant!!!
It hurt just as much as a flagrant
-
Tatum nowhere to be found. Interesting.
-
even if we lose this game, cmon guys make a Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing effort and play harder.
-
Hardaway proving me right when I said he was worth his money. Dang it.
I'd rather be wrong right now
And just like that, Kyrie strips him
-
Yeah, this is not the Celtics that I know of. :'(
-
Really feel like this team is broken as is. No chemistry..think on one side you have Brown, Tatum and Rozier causing issues and not following the script.
-
Anyone who still thinks Kyrie isn't a max player is delusional.
-
Kyrie has legitimately been the only consistent effort on both sides of the ball for the past dozen games or so. He's the only reason we even have a chance at games anymore due to his play on both sides of the ball.
-
Hayward has been decent tonight. That's one positive at least.
-
I'll give Kyrie credit for trying to motivate this team by playing all out to try to get them back in it.
-
Hayward being a team player and comes off the bench but Brown still starts? Please.
-
Made the FT. Now score.
-
Anyone who still thinks Kyrie isn't a max player is delusional.
He’s the only proven offensive player on the team.
-
Come on --- DEFEnSE
-
well ta least we are losing due to zero D and missed OPEN looks
not lack of going to rim anymore LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
-
Anyone who still thinks Kyrie isn't a max player is delusional.
I am not delusiional, he is fan-tastic
-
Really feel like this team is broken as is. No chemistry..think on one side you have Brown, Tatum and Rozier causing issues and not following the script.
I'm guessing that Rozier's days as a Celtic are numbered.
-
Break away foul!
-
Knicks refuse to miss.
-
Hayward being a team player and comes off the bench but Brown still starts? Please.
I'm eagerly awaiting the day Brown moves to the bench. Think it would suit him
-
Al.........
-
Cannot get it under ten to save our lives.
-
Seriously Al??
-
Al.........
Al that's your fault for getting stripped.
-
Really feel like this team is broken as is. No chemistry..think on one side you have Brown, Tatum and Rozier causing issues and not following the script.
I'm guessing that Rozier's days as a Celtic are numbered.
I certainly hope Brown's days are also. Those 2 guys are selfish and cost them the
ECF Game 7.
-
10
-
Cannot get it under ten to save our lives.
You can't dig a deep hole and no expect to step in it.
-
Hayward only had one player between him and the rim in transition and he chose to slow down and pass the ball instead of attack.
-
Opportunities just squandered. All game. Disgusting.
-
Wow. I thought Gordon Hayward should have taken that straight to the basket. He hasn't been super aggressive all season.
-
Hayward only had one player between him and the rim in transition and he chose to slow down and pass the ball instead of attack.
Saw that too. He has zero confidence attacking the basket.
-
cripes. to lose the ball on a break away. :-[
-
Wow. I thought Gordon Hayward should have taken that straight to the basket. He hasn't been super aggressive all season.
I thought he made the right play. And it should have worked.
-

hayward has been afraid to shoot all game. and the last few games as well.
-
Hayward only had one player between him and the rim in transition and he chose to slow down and pass the ball instead of attack.
I think it was the right move, because Al had an open lane. Just let it be stripped
-
The fact that this team got down 26 points to the Knicks...at home after 2 embarrassing loses is just ridiculous.
-
Wow. I thought Gordon Hayward should have taken that straight to the basket. He hasn't been super aggressive all season.
I thought he made the right play. And it should have worked.
I think that's The Celtics motto this year...
-
Wow. I thought Gordon Hayward should have taken that straight to the basket. He hasn't been super aggressive all season.
Gordon doesn't trust his quickness right now, not suprising though as he really is stilll a 1/2 step slow...He has been good this game though, not the issue.
-

A Knick team that played last night

Cannot stop them.
-
Hayward is mentally nowhere near he needs to be. He is so timid and just passes up good looks. He needs to be selfish
-

[dang] thats worse

We can't even make free throws.

I think it's more he just knows that he's not 100% physically. He's not the problem
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
-
Game over.
-
Brutal 3

Wow. I thought Gordon Hayward should have taken that straight to the basket. He hasn't been super aggressive all season.
Gordon doesn't trust his quickness right now, not suprising though as he really is stilll a 1/2 step slow...He has been good this game though, not the issue.
playing scared
I think it's more he just knows that he's not 100% physically. He's not the problem
I think it is that as well. He knows he doesn't have the burst of speed he needs. Trying to play smart.
-
Contested 2 - nice shot Morris Sr
-
Game over.
Yeah. Feels like that was it.
-

Exactly. If Al holds onto the pass and dunks it this isn't a conversation

hardaway sealed our fate
ballgame
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
-
It has really become a chore to watch this team at this point.
-
I would seriously begin to shop Brown and Rozier. Send a message to this team that is not going to be tolerated.
-
Another Knicks layup. Great D guys!
-
Williams is like Robinson but doesn't play....
-
oh now brad is upset??? LOL
BOOBIRDS are circling TD GARDEN
-
This is all Knick’s bench doing the damage.
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
Yes it is. This defense is absolutely terrible.
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
It is becoming an issues. Giving up lots of points with a half ass effort
-
Aw, nice guy Brad is finally getting mad and showing some emotion. Too bad it took 19 games worth of p--- poor play to get there.
-
Wow. I thought Gordon Hayward should have taken that straight to the basket. He hasn't been super aggressive all season.
I thought he made the right play. And it should have worked.
Me too
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
Tonight it was. But tonight it was everything.
-
The Cs are very broken and I think Stevens owns the majority of the blame.
-
It has really become a chore to watch this team at this point.
Yeah, not even slightly enjoyable to watch.
-
How can this team become so poor defensively? The personnel is the pretty much the same as a year ago.
-
Well. A loss at home now to the Knicks.
Absolutely shocking and sickening. Most frustrated I've been since.... well, I don't know.
Wow. Cannot make a shot and cannot stop the freaking Knicks. I could scream.
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.

and lousy defense screws the celtics once more. ::)
-
At this point I wouldn't assume we could beat a G League team.
-
It has really become a chore to watch this team at this point.
Yeah, not even slightly enjoyable to watch.
I just follow along online now. Check in every so often. They make me too angry when I watch.
-
feel bad for fans at game..boo birds are chirping
didnt know we had warriors on schedule tonight..oh wait..it is the knicks....🤢
maybe we need a long holiday break...
-
Well. A loss at home now to the Knicks.

Wow. Cannot make a shot and cannot stop the freaking Knicks. I could scream.
and in the past few minutes, even when the celtics did play some good defense the knicks made great shots.
crappy defense and crappy offense = crappy night. :P
-
It has really become a chore to watch this team at this point.
Yeah, not even slightly enjoyable to watch.

Might take a leaf out of your book.
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
The offense might be more of an issue than the defense, but the defense is clearly a problem, too.
Granted, I think most of the defensive issues are stemming from the offensive woes and our chemistry issues. Need energy and intensity on that side of the ball to be a good defensive team, and we just don't have that right now.
-
I think the Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Brandon Bass, Tyler Zeller starting lineup were a better offensive one than the current version.
Stevens has typically managed to get just enough offense from groups that had no business generating any. Currently, the opposite is true. I don't know why they are trash on offense.
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
It is becoming an issues. Giving up lots of points with a half ass effort
It’s only becoming the issue because the offense is so horrid. And it looks a lot worse when other teams pull away because we can’t score. Every basket by the other team is magnified.
What’s our overall defensive ranking? MUCH better than our offensive rank I would think.
-
22% from 3 point land, + 2 points between Smart, Rozier, Baynes, and Theis.
-
Robinson plays the entire 4th quarter.
Williams isn't even suited up
-
Trey Burke fir MVP off the bench.
-
If we lose this game, which looks incredibly probable, we'll have a worse record than... the Sacramento Kings.
-
celtics free throw shooting is 68%. they suck at everything.
-
Boston's defense is vastly overrated.
Defense not the issue.
Yes it is. This defense is absolutely terrible.
The reason our defense is rated so high is because teams are playing down to the competition....in this case, playing down to Celtics pathetic level.
-
textbook example of what's wrong with this team. Kyrie was open in the lane for a 10 footer but passes out to Morris behind the 3. got bailed out with a Tatum bucket
-
Missing open shots and feeling like the team isn't playing to their potential is one thing... But a loss like this where they let the Knicks (of all teams) just get whatever they want on offense is truly dispiriting.
-
After all of our freaking shooting issues, and Brad draws up an ATO play for a kickout Morris 3 on 6-27 three point shooting for the night? Yeah, our offensive philosophy is just as much of a problem as anything else.
-
Robinson plays the entire 4th quarter.
Williams isn't even suited up
It's maddening!!
-
Man Tim Hardaway is lights out
-
textbook example of what's wrong with this team. Kyrie was open in the lane for a 10 footer but passes out to Morris behind the 3. got bailed out with a Tatum bucket
and look at hayward
too much hesitation
-
Man Tim Hardaway is lights out
Many players have been lights out from 3 pt range against us. Why is that?
-
Robinson plays the entire 4th quarter.
Williams isn't even suited up
So what. He’s not going to he,p the offense.
-
textbook example of what's wrong with this team. Kyrie was open in the lane for a 10 footer but passes out to Morris behind the 3. got bailed out with a Tatum bucket
That’s all on the coach and his system
-
Never seen a team so in love with the 3 pointer despite having not been any good at them all season. They continue to chuck up lazy shots.
-
We have to start worrying about not making the playoffs at this point
-
celtics have one more run in them tonight.
-
The Cs are very broken and I think Stevens owns the majority of the blame.
Not just Stevens, but the whole coaching staff. Stevens is head coach, but the assistants are just as complicit in this crapfest for not standing up to this crap earlier.
We're literally just doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
-
Robinson plays the entire 4th quarter.
Williams isn't even suited up
So what. He’s not going to he,p the offense.
Unlike Baynes and Theis, who collectively have 0 points tonight.
-
At least Doc lost games because he was resting players for the big picture. I have no idea what the rhyme or reason is with this team
-
We have to start worrying about not making the playoffs at this point
I was thinking the same things...
-
Well, the good news is that we have three quarters of a season to get it right
and the bad news might be we have three quarters of a season left of this
Jk...kind of...
How about those Sox?! Still havent gotten my sweatshirt in the mail yet-wth?
-

That’s all on the coach and his system
I think the issue is that we don’t have guys that just take the first open shot. We drive and kick multiple times in a possession because guys don’t take the first shot.
-
Tatum -20, Jaylen -15 to lead the C's tonight...Rozier 0 points o for 4. Kyrie 7 of 22
-
Knicks are partly lucky as well here... Shooting lights out from three when our guys can't hit em even when theyre open.
-

I miss Walter McCarty
-
Robinson plays the entire 4th quarter.
Williams isn't even suited up
So what. He’s not going to he,p the offense.
He's not going to hurt it and he's going to bring energy and bring what Robinson is bringing to the Knicks.,
-
I know it is early....but this team is going to have to fight even to make the playoffs
-
It sickens me to see this lowly Knicks team look and play so confidently against us. Inexcusable.
-
Tatum -20, Jaylen -15 to lead the C's tonight...Rozier 0 points o for 4. Kyrie 7 of 22
Brown has played well in the 2nd half - only part of the game I have seen. Tatum seems to have been awol a bit..
-
Can yo stop them -- once?
-
10 agin!
-
Just not a foul. Coward official yet again.
-
A lot of those Knick shots are made easier because their so far ahead. It’s all fee and easy when the other team can’t score.
-
Man Tim Hardaway is lights out
Many players have been lights out from 3 pt range against us. Why is that?
According to BBRef, Celtics have the lowest opponent 3P% in the league.
After tonight, maybe not. But this is actually uncharacteristic for the season.
-
Well, the good news is that we have three quarters of a season to get it right
and the bad news might be we have three quarters of a season left of this
Jk...kind of...
How about those Sox?! Still havent gotten my sweatshirt in the mail yet-wth?
got my sox hat in weeks ago

I am jealous! my sweatshirt is deadly too..cannnot wait
-
Disinterested?
Coaching?
Lazy?
No BB IQ?
No Chemistry?
Overrated?
-
BS call!
-
miracle comeback ?
-
Where the hell was this earlier? This team is infuriating.
-
How was that not a foul on Vonleh?
-
unreal effort to get this close.
-
Now why couldn't we do this earlier?
-
Thank God it's still football season...
-
Larkin is the difference!
-
Robinson plays the entire 4th quarter.
Williams isn't even suited up
So what. He’s not going to he,p the offense.
Or, he might just make a bunch of rookie mistakes. Just cuz one rookie plays well in a game doesn’t mean the kther one will.
He's not going to hurt it and he's going to bring energy and bring what Robinson is bringing to the Knicks.,
-
How was that not a foul on Vonleh?
That was a blatant over the back foul
-
Wow
-
keep fighting C's!!!
-
How was that not a foul on Vonleh?
wondering the same thing. looked like a blatant grab
-
That three is HUGE for Gordon Hayward.
Hope he builds up more confidence from here on out.
-
Welcome to the team Gordon!
-
How was that not a foul on Vonleh?
That was a blatant over the back foul
He was basically holding his hand
-
Ridiculous. Clutchest shot of Gordon's Celtics career.
Now a stop?????????????
-
Where the hell was this earlier? This team is infuriating.
Make miss league. We missed all these shots earlier.
-
here we go..sox magic seaping into the garden!
-
Biggest shot of Hayward’s Celtics career!
-
4 points down, but it's mostly because we're getting lucky and hitting the threes. Still just throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks.
-
Larkin is the difference!
He did bring crazy energy off that bench....
-
Thank God it's still football season...
yep WHO DAT!?
-
they can do it!!!!!!
-
down to 4!!!!!
-
What does it take being embarrassed to get this team to play?
-
Larkin is the difference!
I miss the little fella. He had HEART
-
4 points down, but it's mostly because we're getting lucky and hitting the threes. Still just throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks.
ha ha ha...blame them when they miss. dismiss it when they hit. ha ha. why not enjoy the come back?
-
Where the hell was this earlier? This team is infuriating.
Make miss league. We missed all these shots earlier.
for tonight THAT IS CORRECT
people miss the fact we did go to rim
which we never did in past games in which we won
people need to look deeper into what the causes are and what we did right
-
4 points down, but it's mostly because we're getting lucky and hitting the threes. Still just throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks.
sometimes you gotta be lucky when you aren't good
-
those missed free throws are looming big now.
-
They missed a CLEAR goaltend. Seriously
-
Went and saw Creed II tonight...quit enjoyable
-
Swore that was a goaltend
-
Don't tease me, Celtics!
-
Uh, they miss a BLATANT goaltending on Vonleh.
Pure incompetence by the officials.
-
Let's go Smart. It's your time.
-
Haven't had the chance to watch just following the score, looks like they waited till the last minute to start playing properly again?
-
There are no moral victories tonight, no silver linings. No brownie points for coming back from 26. They do this comeback nonsense every other night.
-
Man, I don't think they called that time out in time. That should have been 5 seconds.
-
Swore that was a goaltend
Refs want to go home
-
Man, I don't think they called that time out in time. That should have been 5 seconds.
Did Vonleh standing under the ring with the ball in hand (still on-court) count? That seemed like forever
-
Nice comeback but it should't always come to this....and probably going to end up short. SMH
-
Cannot believe how many clutch shots the Knicks have hit in this quarter.
-
Swore that was a goaltend
You were right!
-
brad and DA have their work cutout for them
have to always go to rim
play D
make OPEN jumpers!
-
10 seconds there and a to?! wth!!
No teasing tonight..want the full on miracle comeback
-
Swore that was a goaltend
it was.
-
Cannot believe how many clutch shots the Knicks have hit in this quarter.
3 double doubles against us, lol. Brutal. Hardaway Jr. and Burke have eaten us for breakfast
-
4 points down, but it's mostly because we're getting lucky and hitting the threes. Still just throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks.
ha ha ha...blame them when they miss. dismiss it when they hit. ha ha. why not enjoy the come back?
Huh? 3/4 of the posters on this blog have been complaining about these shots we've been taking all season long. Just because they're making chucked threes now doesn't make them good shots.
-
they didn't get that timeout before I counted to 5
but I may be counting fast...haha
-
Brown needs to give that up. Now he’ll miss at least one FT.
-
GOT to make these Jaylen.
-
4 points down, but it's mostly because we're getting lucky and hitting the threes. Still just throwing crap up against the wall and hoping it sticks.

that wasnt my point, was it?
anyway, i am happy this team did not give up. they played hard to come back.
-
got lucky they called a foul on the Knicks. looked pretty close to a strip
-
Brown sucks fro FT line. Crossing fingers
-
stupid
pass ball brown the wing had a DUNK!
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.
-
they didn't get that timeout before I counted to 5
but I may be counting fast...haha
same..
-
Brown needs to give that up. Now he’ll miss at least one FT.
Tatum would have had a dunk
-
GOT to make these Jaylen.
I can't say I'm hopeful, but let's go!
-

Yeah me too, even if we still lose, show some Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing balls out there.
-
He grabbed Brown's leg after the foul while he was trying to land
-
Brown needs to give that up. Now he’ll miss at least one FT.
I was screaming for him to give it to Kyrie.
-
If he drops it off to Tatum it’s an easy two.
-
Are they looking at Brown's elbow?
-
Brown is so bad at protecting the ball
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.
He saw glory.
-
geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez
-
He just pushed the guys off of him. Please.
-
looking like a T will be called. it's that kind of a game
-
Are they looking at Brown's elbow?
Walt Frazier thinks they are. He's begging for a flagrant on a 'malicious' elbow ::)
-
Brown needs to give that up. Now he’ll miss at least one FT.
Tatum would have had a dunk
Selfish play as usual
-
Disgusting
-
So now we’ll be lucky to pick up just one point on this possession.
-
I love when Tommy tries to make sure the ref hears him
-
Oh seriously?
Ball don't lie.
-
Jaylen will miss at least one free throw so we basically get nothing out of this
-
Justice.
-
BALL DON'T LIE!!
-
HUGE MISS. Now Jaylen -- make em
-
What a ****ing joke. Give the game to them anymore why don't you.
Amazed at the self-restraint to not belt the officials with food and drink
-
Jaylen will miss at least one free throw so we basically get nothing out of this
called it
-
goodnight
-
Disgusting
LOL WELP
BALLGAME
-
Fitting I guess.
Too little too late.
-
Make miss league.
-
Jaylen will miss at least one free throw so we basically get nothing out of this
yep u called it!
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.
And of course he goes 1 for 2. Dude has no BBIQ or court awareness. Just a dumb basketball player.
-
JayT with the routinely bad defence following a Jaylen Brown classic choke at the line! Gotta love it ::)
-
Burke unbelievable tonight.
Good for them. Celtics do not deserve this game. I would have been ecstatic. But they don't deserve it.
-
We're officially worse than the Kings. The Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing Sacramento Kings.
-
God I hate Jaylen sometimes..
-
goodnight
good night!
happy thanksgiving!
maybe DA will read the riot act to brad
-

And of course he goes 1 for 2. Dude has no BBIQ or court awareness. Just a dumb basketball player.
But according to posters, he's a future star......
-
Fitting I guess.
Too little too late.
Yup. Too many th8ngs need to go perfectly when you dig a hole like we have been doing.
-
what can you say. burkes has been unconscious tonight. the game of his career.
-
Make miss league.
Can't have too many guys who can't shoot. Guys like Semi and Smart aren't going to have a place the way the game is evolving.
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.

But according to posters, he's a future star......
Wonder where the ardent defenders of his BBIQ are?
-
[dang]...tough to play two minutes and expect to win.....if no universe should knicks score over 110 in our home
-
I am really done with Jaylen Brown.
-
We're missing our shots at the beginning of these games because we play with no drive or energy.
-
Terrible loss by a .500 team. If this doesn't provide a wake up call, what will?
-
The nadir of the Cs season. This team is unwatchable.
-
well, one consolation that may come from this crappy start to the season is that there may be more and cheaper tickets to games since the casual fan and trendy hipsters won't find the Garden the place to go to be seen. :P
-
Make miss league.
This gives us too much credit. We suck.
-
Make miss league.
wrong, not contested shots
not if you are NOT going to hoop
or GETTING open shots
we did both and lost
so for tomight yes
-
Lol let the boo birds rain down, fans. This team deserves it.
Brad needs to be on the hot seat. Complete failure this season thus far - bar none. Get a coach who won't waste the most talent we've had in at least a decade.
-
goodnight
good night!
happy thanksgiving!
maybe DA will read the riot act to brad
Happy Thanksgiving! Let's hope for a better road trip this weekend.
-
Boo them off the floor. A lot of this is all about effort and playing hard...which this soft team does not do
-
Dumb decision by Brown.
The dumb guy who actually generated the steal that led to the foul in the first place. I wish we could stop comments like this.
-
Happy Turkey day to all...pendulum is bound to swing in our favor sometime soon...
-
what can you say. burkes has been conscious tonight. the game of his career.
We have a bad habit of letting non-star players have monster games against us this season. Ingles, Murray, TJ Warren, etc. And now Burke
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.

How the hell was Smart's best 3pt shooting year his rookie year? Ugh.
-
Terrible loss by a .500 team. If this doesn't provide a wake up call, what will?
We’ve had ten wake up calls. The alarm’s broke.
-
what can you say. burkes has been unconscious tonight. the game of his career.
we keep seeing and saying this almost every game noW!
INGLES!
BOOKER!
WALKER!
etc
etc
-
Another tough one....
-
Hayward was the one positive. There weren't many others.
-
Again, some unknown player has career night against Celtics.
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.

But according to posters, he's a future star......
Wonder where the ardent defenders of his BBIQ are?
Brown got the steal in the first place...
Again, there is a difference between offensive BBIQ and defensive. Brown has a severe deficiency of the former
-
That's how many losses vs bottom dwelling teams now? God, there is clearly something the matter with this team.
The slow starts. The defense just hasn't showed up. I hope Danny Ainge is doing more work, as clearly this team needs sort of a shakeup.
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.

Thats what I just said too! :)
-
Lol let the boo birds rain down, fans. This team deserves it.
Brad needs to be on the hot seat. Complete failure this season thus far - bar none. Get a coach who won't waste the most talent we've had in at least a decade.
give me a list of top 5 coaches youd like to be hired if DA fires brad. just curious?
-
Trey Burke and Noah Vonleh -- the latest winners of the Celtic generosity in helping them look like all-stars ::)
-
Our team features random all star candidates in every game.
Kyrie hugging Hardaway after game and Knicks coach comes over to kiss s little Kyrie butt.
-
what can you say. burkes has been unconscious tonight. the game of his career.
Every game we play we're allowing guys to have career games. It's not bad luck. This is a bad basketball team that thinks theyre a great one for some reason. And other teams know it.
-
and the celtics missed 10 free throws tonight. ten. even with abysmal shooting and terrible defense, if they had made their free throws they probably win. :P
-
Brad has shown the past few games who he thinks our best 5 players are. In crunch time it's been Irving, Hayward, tatum, morris, Horford. I wouldnt mind if that was our starting 5 to be honest
-
Boston Celtics...come play them and become a star
-
Hello 8th seed!!! 😢
-
Dumb decision by Brown. Had Tatum and Kyrie wide open to his left and takes it to the rim instead, even though he's a complete liability at the free throw line. Just no BBIQ or court awareness.

Yep, it shows you that analytics isn’t a perfect science.
-
Start Hayward, bench brown and replace with smart.
Enough finding minutes for everyone, play who deserves to be on the floor.
Oh and trade Rozier.. now
-
Hello 8th seed!!! 😢
Hello lottery.
-
and the celtics missed 10 free throws tonight. ten. even with abysmal shooting and terrible defense, if they had made their free throws they probably win. :P
The Knicks missed 9...
-
Hello 8th seed!!! 😢
the fact we are even mentioning this SHOULD be a RED FLAF for DAnny
we were 8th seed afew years back when we sucked and were rebuilding
but now? scary!
after making ECF last two years
-
Sorry Celtics. You can't play like dogEdited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. for 95% of the game then play lights out for 5.
This loss is a disgrace. This is easily the most disappointing Celtics team since 2013. At least that team had age and Rondo's injury for an excuse. This team has none.
I still believe they can it together, but my patience is running thin.

We gotta start playing better from the start of games. We gave a better effort in the 4th, but that effort and grit needs to be on display in the 1st half and save us from the 20+ point comebacks.
Hats of the knicks, they hit shots tonight, and it made them look way better as a team than they are.

Tatum has def. hit the sophomore slump

I actually think Tatum was worse than Brown today.
...and either had an assist...
-
Tatum has def. hit the sophomore slump
Actually he's been one of the few bright spots in the last five games or so.

Tatum has def. hit the sophomore slump
Tatum has bought into his own hype.
-
Can't play about 20 good minutes a game and expect to win anything
-
Lol let the boo birds rain down, fans. This team deserves it.
Brad needs to be on the hot seat. Complete failure this season thus far - bar none. Get a coach who won't waste the most talent we've had in at least a decade.
give me a list of top 5 coaches youd like to be hired if DA fires brad. just curious?
?????
does anybody here really think DA will fire brad? i just do not see it.
-
4 points down, but it's mostly because we're getting lucky and hitting the threes.
Right on Target Potter

Hey relax, we have like 10 games coming up against bad teams. I feel a winning streak coming.
That mantra is dead. Always thought it was BS. We lost to Magic and Knicks at home. I don’t think it’s lack of effort. We’re just not good and we panic and do stupid things.
Stevens should do major shakeup. Start Yabu and Williams. At least you’ll get effort and interior presence.

Why would you even fire Brad anyways when its the guys on the court who litter and make poopoo of themselves.. Getting down 25 points isn't Brads fault.. The guys on the court did that to themselves.
Brad has tried his best with the line ups that work but man... We come out and play and we always let an opposing teams bench player look like an all star.
-

Seemed more like 10 minutes. They scored more in the 4th than the 1st and 3rd quarter combined.
-
Tatum has def. hit the sophomore slump

Only relatively, because everyone else has sucked.
-
I think we have a team that refuses to play hard, listen to coaching and follow the game plan. Not many are buying in like it takes to win games.
This isn't about learning how to play with each other....there are a ton more issues with this team
-
Dumb decision by Brown.
The dumb guy who actually generated the steal that led to the foul in the first place. I wish we could stop comments like this.
With that rationale no1 should ever be mad with a smart 3pt chuck after he made a defensive play the play before. I'm sorry but making a good play on defense doesnt make up for terrible decisions on offense. That's such a selfish way of playing basketball
-
biggest difference between last year's team and this year's team is the frequency with which open shots were made last year and missed this year. if the team was shooting like it did last year, we'd be talking about knocking off GSW.
Brad can't shoot the shots or make the FTs for these guys but he's got to change his offensive philosophy from bombing away from the get go to getting buckets close in to warm up the shooters.

Actually he's been one of the few bright spots in the last five games or so.
He shot 4-12 tonight, and sagged enough to give Burke a pretty comfortable jumper that sealed the game. He's a pretty bad defender

no difffrent tha myself last two years
brad drove me nuts relying on outside shots and no inside game most games
well it bit us in the ass in game 7 kast year
now? these last two games we have went to rim but cannot hit an open shot
i can see missing contested but open? not sure how you fix this
i think probklems run much deeper

It doesn't look like panic to me. It looks more like the opposite. Guys aren't engaged. Even when Tatum has shot well this season he doesn't seem like he's fully engaged in the game. It's like he's playing 1-on-1 with whoever's guarding him.
Too often it looks like everyone is playing their own individual games of 1-on-1 instead of playing together.

I agree. Stevens will trot out some odd lineups. But today, I thought he stuck with whomever was playing well - within reason. You can't play Kyrie 40+ minutes against the Knicks in November.
Brad is not the problem.

Bury Rozier on the bench he's trade bait. Now I understand why Brown is playing less and less. For some reason, Baynes is in the dog house.
Shorten the roster, play the experienced players. This sucks.

and the celtics missed 10 free throws tonight. ten. even with abysmal shooting and terrible defense, if they had made their free throws they probably win. :P
The Knicks missed 9...
dont bother with facts and data!!!!!!!!! ;D
oh, and a tp for posting that.

Where is the pride? The grit? Just rolling the balls out like is Saturday at the YMCA
-
The only positve I can think of Hayward finally bringing in sone aggressiveness.. Hope he is more aggresaive and stop passing up shots when its there.
Missed a bunch of FT and missed a lot of open threes which basically means this was suppose to be a winnable game.
Morris should start IMO and replace Baynes.. See if that changes our plan of attack.

Thanks, yeah that whole game really came down to 15 -30 Knicks for 3 vs 10-33 Celtics. Kincks 50% Celtics 30%.... Also the Knicks shot twice as many free throws. Everyone shoots twice as many free throws as we do...

Off to give thanks...

Brad actually tried to tonight in the 2nd half. His core group was Hayward, Al, Morris and Kyrie. He had to add a 5th and use the other guys to rest people but he tried to ride those 4 as much as he could. The suckitude unfortunately is infecting the whole roster. No one else deserved to be part of the first 5.

that certainly hasn't helped but if C's hit only 4-5 of those open 3's they missed, they win and there's just grumbling about those guards rather than pointing to them as the cause of a loss.
C's definitely need to figure out how to clamp down on hot opposition shooters but the level of complaining about them has definitely gone up in correlation with the C's missing open shots and falling way behind in games that they can't come back from

See, this is where I disagree. Managing the talent is the primary job of NBA coaches, whether that be their expectations, their roles, their egos, or even their energy and motivation.
I don't think anyone disagrees that these guys are in their own heads now, and it's affecting their play at both ends. The fact that Brad has not been able to remedy this issue nearly a quarter of the way into the season is a major red flag. Guys are not playing with regular energy, intensity, or motivation - and that's on the coaching staff by not properly having their guys ready for games and managing these issues.
Combine this with the other issues - the inflexibility with his offensive philosophy, questionable rotations and decision-making, not clarifying roles, etc. - and the coaching staff clearly is a primary factor in this failure of a season thus far.
Players also bear some of the responsibility, but this is coaching 101 stuff that the coaching staff can't get a handle on.

Lol, you can't be attributing the terrible play of our young guys to Hayward merely being there, can you?

Is this game worth watching on DVR or should I just skip it and move on. I kinda wanna see how Hayward played, looked like he had a decent game at least.

The last quarter wasn't bad, besides the choke by JB.
May as well wait for GH's highlights to hit YouTube.

Well...this was Hayward's best game to date. The rest of it was 'burn the tape' quality so you'll have to decide. ;D

I don't think we can blame Hayward for the following:
Brown 4-10
Tatum 4-12
Rozier 0-4
Irving 9-25

He won't be fired; I'm pretty sure he's got like four to five more guaranteed years on his contract or something like that.
He definitely needs to be feeling some heat from Danny, though, because this is inexcusable, as he is failing one of his basic functions of being a coach.
I think I've come to the conclusion that he simply isn't equipped at this point to coach a team with this much talent, as he's never had to manage this type of talent in his career due to always playing with less and having to maximize it, whether that be at Butler or Boston.
That's a completely different type of coaching than what he has to do this year, and a big part of that is keeping players motivated. When we had those scrappy, underdog teams or even last year with all of the injuries, Brad didn't have to keep guys motivated or worry about managing team morale, as the team's character and overall makeup was different. This year we got it into our heads that we can sleepwalk to victories with our talent, and Brad is just dumbfounded and can't figure out how or even what to fix.

His first game with 0, but he's had one 3 point game, three 4 point games and one 5 point game. Exactly 1/3 of the time Terry scores 5 points or less

It's not that I think Stevens and co. should get no blame. They do. Some of our problems are not new - going down early and taking far too many mid-range shots. A large part of that, if not most, is on the coaches.
I just don't think he should be on the hot seat at all. Even with all the expectations, he's earned lots of time to figure things out. And he has a track record of doing so.

I've always thought that the biggest issue ahead of Brad, ahead of all the tactical stuff, was having to synthesize all the disparate elements of this team into a cohesive whole. The challenge is compounded because you have three players (Tatum, Brown, Rozier) who basically had breakout seasons last season and you are effectively rewarding their improvement by giving them less touches, less minutes, a smaller role and that negativity has seeped into the team as a whole.
Right now this team is disjointed, dispirited and not putting the effort in on the defensive end. Giving up 117 points to the Knicks? I saw some of the replays where Trey Burke burned us over and over and it looks like they're falling down on simple things like fighting through screens or keeping your man in front of you. Those are basic fundamental basketball plays. We're constantly getting killed on pick and rolls. That to me speaks of a negative mindset. That's really what Brad needs to work on - that and to prevent the locker room environment from turning poisonous. If we as fans are this frustrated I can imagine how much more they would be (and if they aren't frustrated they don't have pride in their performances). So easy for this situation to end up with fingerpointing and blame game.
That said, I personally think it's early to conclude he doesn't have what it takes. I think that assessment is something you can only arrive at when you have a season under your belt and have either succeeded or failed. But it's fair to say right now he's not exactly succeeding.

Imagine being a score first point guard (rozier) and putting up a goose egg
His first game with 0, but he's had one 3 point game, three 4 point games and one 5 point game. Exactly 1/3 of the time Terry scores 5 points or less
It's basically like the way he performed prior to his breakout game last season where he started and played 30+ minutes. I think he's one of those players that needs time out on the floor to get himself into rhythm and work himself into the game. When he has less time to make an impact he tries too hard and fails. He needs some tips from the likes of Lou Williams or Tyreke Evans on how to impact the game in short bursts.

biggest difference between last year's team and this year's team is the frequency with which open shots were made last year and missed this year. if the team was shooting like it did last year, we'd be talking about knocking off GSW.
Brad can't shoot the shots or make the FTs for these guys but he's got to change his offensive philosophy from bombing away from the get go to getting buckets close in to warm up the shooters.
I agree. Stevens will trot out some odd lineups. But today, I thought he stuck with whomever was playing well - within reason. You can't play Kyrie 40+ minutes against the Knicks in November.
Brad is not the problem.
Well, I disagree about the track record. He's done amazing things with little talent (and definitely has bought himself some time to figure this out), but I don't think he really has any experience in this kind of situation, which is kind of the problem.
I don't know. He clearly won't be fired this year, and I'm not sure that I want that. I'm pretty frustrated with him, but I'm still willing to give him this year to figure it out (as I hate midyear coaching changes), regardless of what I get caught up saying in the game threads at times. ;) Additionally, there's no one coach on the market right now that would make sense as a midseason replacement, though if Bud didn't go to Milwaukee this summer I think he would've been a really great coach for us.
I do think Danny needs to be putting some pressure on him, though. Only now is he making even incremental changes, but he's done nothing to best manage the guys' emotions and keeping them motivated, which is his primary purpose as an NBA coach.

Agree. If he was able to learn from Lou it'd be awesome

Would you be happy if Hayward goes to his prior form but we miss the playoffs in the process?
This ridiculousness all about Hayward has to stop we were fine without him... >:(
Lol, you can't be attributing the terrible play of our young guys to Hayward merely being there, can you?
I don't know if NKY fan is blaming Hayward for the youngsters' poor play, but there are most definitely some people on this blog who do, in fact, blame Hayward.
But I'm with you: blaming Hayward is absurd.
I understand that players get used to certain rhythms—when they play, how many minutes they play, etc.—but these guys are professional basketball players, and they need to make shots. Period. Full stop.
When Tatum or Brown or anyone else on this team goes up for a shot and misses—and does this repeatedly—it's not because Hayward's now in the lineup, or because their minutes have been altered, or because of anything like that; it's because of what's going on between their ears. With few exceptions, the current players on the Boston Celtics are so lost inside their own minds, so gunshy, so afraid of failure, that they're barely functioning as basketball players. It's like when Chuck Knoblauch could no longer make a simple throw from second base to first. My Dad finds it amazing that an entire team can go cold, and for extended periods, and I agree: How can you have an entire team of professional basketball players go cold for long stretches? And not just any team, but a team that has multiple all-stars and multiple rising stars?
I don't know if it's because these guys bought into their own hype, or if it's because of something else, but they've created a nightmare scenario for themselves and for their fans. There's still time to right the ship, but not as much as some might think; if they don't figure it out, this could go down as the worst/most disappointing season in Celtics history.

Brad Stevens: "We’re not playing with the same personality we played with last year. That’s the easiest way to describe it. And then the 50,000 issues that are below that, we have to tackle one at a time."

And whose job is it to ensure that doesn't happen, Sherlock?? And hasn't this been evident since, like, the first half of the first preseason game? ::)

Time to get Hayward out. We've been awful with him on the floor.
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
geez, hayward is NOT looking good .
Might be good idea to shut him down for a few weeks
Hayward looks very good tonight
Hayward looks very good tonight
I agree.
Anyone still think Hayward is the problem?
I didn't get to watch the game so was reading through the thread for a bit of entertainment...did Hayward actually play well or not? ???

Trey Burke with 30 and 11? PGs are circling us on their calendars right now.

I agree it 's mental not sure about the gunshy stuff but TP to you.

I was pleased with Hayward's game last night. Tatum looks to be rounding into form. I never thought Hayward was the problem. Fans have to have someone to blame and I have always thought it was our shooting.
It's the cute attitude (that we are better than we are) that we have been playing with coupled with poor shooting that has been our bane.

At first , i blamed alot on the stupid shortest pre season. I m done with that excuse. They look lost , and that ismthe coaches job to,see that does not happen.
Its time for the Celtics to,step up as a team
Ultimately Stevens is their leader ....its HIS job to whip them into shape. Not wait on the tooth fairy to come along and whisper ...Time to play ball boys .
I don't care to watch a Celtic team with Lackadaisical attitude.
