If Rob plays his game the Cs should dominate.  Otherwise it will be a close game.

If the Celtics as a team are on their game I think they win it all. They need to be on their game for every game. They can't give these Warriors anything easy for every game. This is going to be a whole other level.

Celtics are in the NBA Finals. How fun is this?

Honestly, I feel like we’re playing with houses money. That said, Celtics in 6 with multiple double digit wins and a few close losses.

We may have gotten by Miami without much from Pritchard and Batman but I really think we need them to hit shots this series. The Warriors have capable guys on the bench especially Poole. White will play a role but they need the other two off the bench to provide more as well.

Just pound the paint on Klay and Steph , make em  run , play defense and foul us all as much as possible.

TP FLCeltsfan as always !

This is a « feel each other out » game but I’m feeling good about it. I think the carryover from game 7 can be the difference against the Warriors’ rust.

I’m particularly curious to see the mental state of mind of the Celtics, hoping they’ll play relaxed. And how Horford performs particularly, I feel he could have a statement game.

I have been dealing with a lot of neck, shoulder, arm pain these last couple weeks.  Had an MRI today, hopefully the doctors can figure out why I am in so much freaking pain.  But I will cozy up to my vicodin and cheer on the C's.  GO CELTICS!!!

yeah this is totally true.  just making it past those 3 teams was a great accomplishment for this team.
It is all gravy now...

Most talking heads picking the warriors. Most likely this is their last best chance at a title. Seems they feel Boston has more ahead of them.

Good. I want all the talking heads to pick the Warriors. Give the Celtics as much motivation as possible. More please.  :D

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

1.  Play with pace and get out in transition when possible (like beginning of game 7 against the Heat).  That doesnt mean getting into a track meet tho.
2.  DON’T turn it over!  Need to minimize TOs!
3.  Get back on D!  Stay on your feet (stop spending time on the floor) and DON’T whine to the refs.
4.  Stay home.  Don’t help and stay glued to Steph and Klay.
5.  Mouse in the House.  Punish Steph and Poole on offense.  Exploit them!
