Agreed.  I thought the Perk and Rapaport impressions were weak.  A Perk parody seems like low-hanging fruit, and they just missed it.

The SAS one was pretty good.

I thought it was pretty funny all around.

Also amazing that Perk has such a national presence.  Glad to see he will still do a local pregame show in Boston.

On a side note, did anyone else see that interview that Abby did with the Heat radio guy (Jason Jackson I think) as part of the pregame?  He seemed to be kind of into Abby (can't blame him for that) but it was creepy and she was clearly uncomfortable.

SNL isn’t funny anymore.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Don't like Keenan's Big Papi, but I thought he nailed Perk pretty good. The SAS one was pretty good too.

The Rappaport one was dreadful.

I do think SNL has gone too political. If I was conservative, I'd prob. roll my eyes at a lot of the skits. I do think they get Tucker Carlson pretty good on a regular basis. I enjoy them targeting Tucker, as I find that he's targeting the vulnerable parts of society. He's basically a bully with a bowtie.

I think the show continues to produce unique content, and I still watch every week. Part of this keeps me plugged into pop culture as I don't listen to the radio or watch 24 hour news. As I get older, I tend to like the things I liked when I was young, and tend to criticize newer things.

This skit wasn't that funny, though I did like that they made fun of SAS and Rappaport. The latter is a real turd, but so is El Prez and his Barstool association of squids (apparently they all had some media created beef). SAS is a media creation, much like Skip/Felger/etc.

The Stephen A. impersonation was pretty good and his corpsing and snicker was funny. Keynon's Perk voice was spot on, when it was on because it went in and out a bunch. The Rappaport impersonation was difficult to watch.

That said, some of the one liners were awesome.

The Curry hitting the three in Madison Square Garden by shooting it in San Fran was good.

The "I thought you were a fan of basketball.... I'm a fan of the Knicks and that's not basket" line was probably the best just ahead of the "I love the Jets because they're undefeated but that's because the season hasn't started yet" line.

The "our audience of unemployed dads" line got a good laugh out of me.
