Celtics-Heat average score in three games this year was 105-92.

The Heat have struggled scoring against the Celtics this year. I see that continuing and for Miami to average less than 95 PPG in this series.

Celtics sweep.

You are convincing me!

Especially so if Lowry is hurt. Sweep.

I find it funny how so many see a few days off as being a good thing for opponents as they get to rest, but some of those same people saw it as bad for the Celtics as the worry was the C's would be rusty.

So which is it?

I guess it can be both, teams can get rest but come out rusty, but it sure isn't portrayed that way.

Whatever hurts the Celtics or affects them negatively, that's the answer!  ;)

I think where the lack of some rest hurts the C's is definitely in the injury department, especially with Smart. The schedule is a "game every other day" type one as well so they'll have to grind it out.

Yeah -- could play out either way -- rust v. rest.  My thinking was mostly about the C's finishing an intense 7-game series and then traveling to Miami -- I think that's tough physically and mentally.

On a few occasions, I've watched the C's play in these playoffs, then watched some of another game the same night, and it always seemed like the second games were considerably less intense. We've been in the two most intense series of the playoffs by a significant margin.

Its a pretty big adjustment to go from playing Philly to playing the Celtics. The difference for Butler, in particular, is going to be like going from playing JV to varsity. I'm also interested in watching whether our bigs can hold their own with Bam or not.

Life is pain.

Gonna need HUGE games from BOTH Brown and Tatum.

I’m not worried about Smart because this should only be tonight, but Horford?!? He could miss a bunch of games. That’s terrible, and what if more test positive?! I don’t think he’s vaxxed. And neither is Brown supposedly.

Yikes. Was not expecting this.

What the hell is right. So sick of these covid protocols. Is Horford actually infected or did he just walk by somebody on the sidewalk not wearing his mask. How contagious is this thing at this point anyway, most people have been vaccinated, I would think.

Speaking of which, why the hell hasn't Jaylen Brown been vaccinated - if not, the guy needs to get his head out of his ass. Hope he isn't listening to some of Kyrie's paranoid conspiracy theories.

Ugh, good Lord. Never fails.

I just hope it doesn’t spread out to the rest of the team, too, and that it’s not a long-term thing for Al. How many negative tests does he have to show before playing again?
