No love for Golden State?
Three All-Star Bigs and the reigning 6th man of the Year.
I am sure some wonder about Lee off the bench but he was too good to pass up at 55 overall. Made the All-Star team, Double Double Machine (led the league). Can spread the floor.
Come on this team is talented and will always have great play around the basket and in the paint
J.R Smith aside. I don't understand the front court rotation? All three are real talents, but not one is capable of stretching the floor, meaning any two occupy too much of the same space offensively. Marc Gasol shot 48.5% on the long two last season, your floor spreader, David Lee shot 41.8% - and he was worse between 3' and 16'. He' phenomenal at the rim though, 68.1%!, but then that's where Hibbert and Randolph do their work? (Fun frivolous fact I learned while checking my impressions against the #s. Zach Randolph dunked just 16 times last season. Huh.)
Defensively, Randolph and Hibbert together lack mobility, the ability to cover the three point line, and will suffer in transition. But at least they'll be punishing interior defenders. Lee is just a liability.
"The Golden Gate."And then you've got to pencil in some decline for BOTH Randolph, at 32 he's on the downside, and Lee, he'll be 31 before the playoffs start.
