Pretend like it's the first player your adding to an expansion team. Team needs don't matter just take the best player.

2006 Draft. You have the first pick, then the second, third and so on.

Leon Powe, Boobie Gibson, Paul Milsap, L. Aldridge, Jordan Farmer, Shannon Brown, Josh Boone, Rondo, Ronnie Brewer, Reddick, Gay, Foye, Roy, T Thomas, A. Bargnani, And my #1 overall Patty O Bryant.

Just break down your own Top 10, or lottery, with the benefit of hindsight.

 I like

 Roy
 Aldridge
 Rondo!
 Gay
 Milsap
 Bargnani
 Brewer
 Foye
 Thomas

My point is that Danny hit a grand Slam, getting a top three player Imo. in the draft At 21. Sure missed on Telfair though.

1.Roy
2.Rondo
3.Gay
4.Aldridge
5.Millsap
6.Shannon brown

Those are the only players worth mentioning in correlation to where they were drafted. I remember at the time thinking Rudy gay shouldve gone #1 to the raptors with their need for a scoring wing player. Battier for that 8th pick to get Gay was a solid trade for both teams. Imagine if Danny kept pick 6 and drafted Roy. I don't think anyone saw him being so good.

I thought a lot of people really liked Roy at that point.  I remember many people saying he should go #1 in the draft because of all the things he was good at, but didn't because they said he didn't do anything great.  Either way, here's my list.

1. Roy
2. Alridge
3. Rondo
4. Millsap
5. Gay
6.Bargnani
7. Foye
8. Thomas
9. Brewer
do it

Yeah exactly a jack of all trades guy I remeber people saying a sixth man on a great team. Both of you have Aldridge over Rondo. I expect more homerism on this blog especially when Rondo has made an all-star team. But i can see where your coming from Aldridge is 6'11" and is putting up an efficient 18 a game.

I agree with that list.
