Three entertainers all dying in the last couple of days at 60 or younger.  Pretty sad.

2016 has really been a sucky year. This is probably the only year I remember where so many big named personalities are passing away on the same year.

Bowie, Prince, Lemmy, Ali, Howe, Alan Rickman... Jesus, that's just a few.

An entire galaxy will be mourning for Carrie Fisher.

Celebrity deaths were bound to accelerate just because we're now ~40-60 years out from a major growth period in mass media.  In other words, more aging and elderly famous people than ever. But this has been an especially brutal year, and too many losses from those in their 50s and 60s.

Maurice White of Earth Wind & Fire as well.  EWF is still one of my favorites and that one hurt me.

Tough, tough year.

Which I hadn't thought of, or heard, in quite a while.  So thanks for that.

RIP to all the dead peeps.

Shocking and horrible news about Carrie Fisher. Just saw the new movie last night, it was riveting. Now today I read this news, unreal.

Her death puts the very last scene in a new, very sad light.

TP, Watership Down is one of my favorite books, really special stuff, great writer, glad he lived such a long and full life. I even read "Tales from Watership Down," the book of short stories he released later, it's worth checking out if you haven't already.
