Woj says that Boston went to 4 years on an offer for Horford, but that the money was too far apart from the $97M guaranteed Horford got from Philadelphia.   

Looks like ultimately it was a money thing.

Well that was the worst landing spot for Horford.  Crap.  I was a bit worried about this. 
Horford was one of the best def of Embiid, the 76ers just removed that wrinkle from the equation.
Honestly though, would all of us be happy bringing horford back on a 4 year 100mil contract?
I would have been way less than thrilled about that part.
