C’s only took 39 shots from deep!? It can’t be…  :o
Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I just watched the replay. The Tv Crew (was it Richard Jefferson?) said Porzingis was “in the wrong place at the wrong time”  when Bam obviously hit him in the nuts. I mean he was playing D against Bam, how could he be “in the wrong place”?? I found it odd also that they didn’t talk more about it. Maybe because KP didn’t crumble on the floor ala LeBron?

To me, that cheap shot with Bam slamming / grabbing KP's junk was worthy of a flag foul.
And then they call the foul on KP!?!?!?  Those announcers were spineless, tons of other announcers would have called that crap out.

Refs have bought into this Heat Culture BS and officiate them much differently.

-Bam flops like a fish and gets so many anticipation calls. Dude literally falls down to draw fouls.
-Bam has yet to set a screen that isn't moving.
-Robinson totally acted his way into that BS Flg foul. He is a jabroni.
-Tatum shoots 2 FTS on a late foul? Seriously? Tatum went to the rim a lot and did not get any calls.
-Miami on the perimeter is awfully handsy and physical and the refs ignore it. Boston tries to play that game and they get called.
-Bam hitting KP in the balls was so blatant and the refs let it go.

The Heat aren't tough at all. They get that label because the refs allow them to be play outside the rules.

Did the game get close at the end? Yes. But that was because of a shot by Martin and the 5 point play with the Flg. foul and ensuing and 1 (which was ridiculous). Celtics were really dealt a poor hand by the refs as they 100 percent kept the Heat in the game.

Very astute....The C's need to have these issues addressed by the league office.

I recall the justifiable outrage when arguably the dirtiest player of his era, Duhwyane Wade, did to same thing to Rondo in the 2011 playoffs.

What Brown did to Robinson was strikingly similar.

Ehh, Wade fell on Rondo with his entire body wade. Brown just sort of shrugged a guy off. It was a similar sort of move, but entirely different in scale.

Kelly Olynyk dislocated Kevin Love's shoulder or something once too.  What Brown did was unnecessary.  Showed lack of poise.  He went a little too far.  But I don't think it was dirty like Draymond Green dirty.

Meh who cares. At least this was directed to the Heat. We're supposed to hate each other. Celtics absolutely should loathe them because of those playoff games and their dirty antics. Udonis Haslem crap. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

My only regret was Brown not yanking it harder on Duncan lol

Agree. He got frustrated, but I don't think eh was trying to hurt someone. With Draymond I'm not so sure.
